The downside of some adrenaline junkie ways to die is the potential of a lucid time after which irreversible action is done, during which you could change your mind or something. For example, a suicide skydive would give you about 50-60 really long seconds. I wouldn't want that.

So I'd go either so quick there wouldn't be chance for second thoughts, or in such an altered state that I wouldn't be aware of my time ticking away somehow.

Bizarre series of threads. But morbid thoughts thus accounted for, I have too much fun left to have to seriously contemplate it.

I too love to live life to my fullest.

If I died while riding my Harley I would totally be fine.

Well actually I would like to die in wherever my home is at the time and have people who care about me ( if there are any) chanting Buddhist compassion meditations to prepare for a rebirth to a more enlightened existence but thats just me Now if I am terminally ill and in a great deal of pain I would prefer assisted suicide at that point. Maybe it will be legal by then.

I  would also borrow an idea from Morrie who had a living funeral before he died so he could enjoy everybody gathering and recalling his life.

Seriously when we are in our final years the only thing that will matter is our connections in this life. That big screen TV won't seem to be quite as big a deal. I try to remember this now but being human frequently forget
