Don't want to use my Costco card with her. She's the problem not the solution. How can the economy recover when people are cheapening the oldest form of entertainment in the world, the blow job? More likely someone that over promises and under delivers.

Wow, it's good to know I'm not the only one on the boards who understands finance and economics...   I don't dabble with them professionally, I'm a programmer/software developer, but I work at a financial institution of sorts.

People are starting to realize they can't have debt hanging over them for decades.  Recent graduates from private universities are graduating with upwards of $140k in loan debt.  People I work with are still paying off their student loans 5 to 10 years later.

Not hobbying for a few months and investing that into a high yield investment could pay big time.  You have the option of getting some guaranteed fun or you can be a little risky and possibly get a whole lot more fun and possibly off-set past costs associated with hobbying.  It's all in the utility function.
