The following is in response to a newbie who claims he's never done this before, & assumed he couldn't (or persistently wouldn't) provide the required info for my minimal system of screening...
"baby, i'm not the fbi here... i'm willing to work with you in achieving a sense of security for myself w/out implanting a tracking device in your neck. and ever since the hospital court-ordered that my weapons be confiscated, i don't even fingerprint you guys anymore, b/c they took that equip too. besides, the ink was too messy... i do rent my in-call residence vs own it. so, if you could just submit a dna sample of your first-born, we can probably derive enough evidence from that, on a molecular level, to give me peace of mind, & it's really of no concern to me how you acquire it (we italians mind our own business). sound reasonable? i'm not one of these ladies that requires your ss # & a written sponsorship contract, geez. }

As good as it feels to vent sometimes, I find it's a lot less headache to just gently decline meeting until they are ready to provide the info I need. I'm happy when potential clients are discreet enough to be cautious about who they give their info to, but I'm not going to let it turn into a tug-of-war. Arguing someone into being screened never works. They usually don't comply, and besides, I don't think I'd feel safe meeting them if they were so resistant to being screened in the first place!
