Due to flight cancellations last week I found myself in Sydney with nothing particular to do for the weekend.  A quick look at the newspaper classifieds and within an hour I had an attractive Uni student naked in my hotel suite. I had booked her for three hours, but was lonely after she left, so a couple of hours later a 19 y.o. Chinese/Japanese gfe provider showed up at my door to spend the night.
Australia has had the good sense to legalize p4p, so it's plentiful and all very open with no worries mate! The one TER reviewed provider I had zeroed in on was away for the weekend and called me back just after I boarded the plane.  I was really tempted to get off and get off some more since my schedule was already screwed up.  I will most definitely hook up with Emma next trip.    
The "operational decision" by the airline was certainly my best travel interruption ever.  I would give them job well done  cards for their decision if I knew who to hand them to.  No complaints from me at all!

Just out of curiosity How do the prices compare to comparable girls in the US

I'd say comparable - with exceptions.  I set the price on the 12-13 h overnight.  I gave her $900 AUD ($840 US) and felt she would have taken quite a bit less. She was asking $240 AUD hr and a lot less for a hh.  No pricing in the classifieds.  The other girl came from the agency div of a brothel and was high at $467 US, but well worth it to me.  She might be $300 here outside of NYC or LA.  There is a fairly extensive presence by the Aussie brothels on the 'net.
