One of the selling aspects is that the battery on the new 3G is supposed to last longer.  

However, not sure of the sturdiness as the backing is not made of the same component as the original.

I will keep you posted as I have upgraded to the new one while keeping my old one.  Who has only one phone number these days?  *winks*

Anyone care to share their experiences with the new  apple iphones inside or outside of the issues this board discusses..... Besides they are a bitch to get!!!

I've heard they aren't that great as they now have a faster internet connection so the battery doesnt last as long.  

Sure look like fun, though...
