Are any other providers out there feeling completely disapppointed and disenchanted with Eros Guide?

I have been a loyal advertiser with Eros for several years and am completely fed up with the mononpoly, with the lack of respect for us (the advertisers - their bread and butter), and with their general inability to provide the services they charge us for in a timely manner. As it stands now they aren't able to meet their own set update deadlines and they offer no reason or responsible reason why.

Has anyone found any alternative advertising solutions? Is there anyone out there interested in working together to find new ways to self promote? Get in touch with ideas!!!!

I found that with them that the sugary approach worked best.

Yes, at times they didn't meet my requests, but overall, they were honest and for the amount of traffic they generate, worth the bang for the buck.

When they really messed up, I kept a level head and requested to be prorated for the time that they didn't meet whatever deadline and they obliged.

I learned to expect them to be a bit behind, especially at the begin of the month, end of the week, so if I wanted to put up a new picture, I gauged my sending off information by taking all of this into account.

Also I always looked for a reply to anything I sent, if I didn't get that timely reply I resent the information within twelve~twenty four hours.  I let them know exactly what I expected with an upbeat attitude even if I was STEEMING mad, I figured they had enough angry customers and a nice attitude would garner their attentiveness more quickly.

When I quit dating abruptly I asked for a refund and they did so.  That was something that I thought in this type of market was pretty upstanding.  It would be fairly difficult to go after them in a small claims situation.

You've go alot of different options, I'll not name them for fear of missing one.   I found them to be the best for my needs when I was dating.

I have always wondered why the top ladies in an area don't get together and form thier own website. When I go into eros, cityvibe, etc. I will see a few of the best surrounded by tens of no names and agency girls.  I would think that the indies would want to stay as far away from the agency gals as much as possible because of the poor attitudes and fallout. By networking the group could be very selective, they must all be indies, must all have their own websites, must all have their own e mail address and phone numbers.  Just think of the hobbiest, he goes to one website where he knows that all the ladies are indies, that each lady has her own website and e mail address. A place where satisfaction is almost certain. Mmmmm you stop lovin ........ Here's my Vegas list for starters Brie, Amy Jordan, January, Mary O Malley, Logan, Roxi, Jade, Kit, Asian Jackie, Jackie Jewel, Cindy Spice to name a few,  remember you don't have to be best of friends because this is a business ... my .02

I can't really comment on doing business with Eros.  Sadly I'm way past my prime and no longer in condition to advertside my body and services:)

However, I do like having a single web site where I can go and find the vast majority of the ladies available. I don't care if it's eros or any other site, it's just easier than navigating many different sites to peruse my options.

Of the dozens of sites in my area that offer advertising to ladies there are only 2 that I even look at (eros being one of them). The second site has about 90% duplication so I consider it a wash.  The rest are for the most part fake pics and quasi rip offs, etc..

Laney,

First of all, let me just say... GGGRRRRRR!!! You are really hot looking! I wish you were in my neck of the woods.

Ok, now that's out of the way... I can offer two suggestions. First, as a hobbyist, I like www.naughtyescort.com much better than eros. Eros, at least in my area seems to have a lot of ripoffs. Most providers on NE seem to all get good reviews.

Secondly, being a computer engineer and designer by trade, I was thinking of a new concept for a provider-ad board where the providers themselves would be in charge of managing their own content. It would only be available to independents, and you would have simple tools to completely manage your own listing. If that sounds interesting to you, PM me, and let's discuss.

I don't normally post here but I'm going to chime in my agreement with Laney.

Eros has messed up my ads more times than I care to count. They lose my e-mails, and it's always quite a challenge reaching them by phone (I've been on hold for an hour sometimes longer.)

Their update deadlines are never accurate and it's quite frustrating. I am currently searching for a better place to advertise. I had thought about using Lovings but I noticed they require ID to advertise there. I don't really want an adult website having  all my  real info. I'm considering Cityvibe and would like to have feedback on them or any other suggestions.

I mainly visit the Bay area but will be expanding my tour plans shortly.

Ok..rant over:)

Thanks for the feedback. I agree about creating an automated site for indies even if it were't free. This way, at least we could better manage our ads and it would give us all a chance to let some real personality shine through.
