I'm surprised girls don't offer incentives like frequent hobby miles or "10th session is free".  Why?

I know they sometimes lower their rates for regulars, but this seems like an even better idea to get more sessions booked.

Any thoughts?

While I don't offer a "tenth session free" kind of deal, I do offer what I like to call a "repeat offender benefit."  This is for my established regulars to purchase several sessions at one time rather than paying for them each time.  This gives them a discount per session.  For example, I offer a package of 5 sessions for $1000, which basically means that they are getting a session for free.  The offer never expires and if anything happens that I decide to retire before they've used them, the money would simply be returned.  I don't offer this to new clients because they don't know me and I wouldn't just hand someone $1000 dollars and trust them that they'll see me 5 times.... However, my regular clients know my character and several of them have chosen to take advantage of this option.

I never thought about doing something like that, do you get alot of feedback from it?  How did you build that kind of clientel?

I offer discounts and specials on a regular basis but nothing like an advance payment service.  Is it a good turn around though?

I have a client that always say or mention frequent hobbyist miles when he come by to see me but always laugh it off, do you guys really want that?

I already offer a repeat discount from the first time they see me.  If I wanted to do every 10th session free that would require keeping some sort of record.  I prefer not to have any records of any kind laying around.

I offer "HONEY MONEY" (same difference) only thing is all you need is six (6) and you get a free hour but you have to schedule a two hour session to get the free hour. It's basically a very good idea, & I'm sure welcomed by those who repeat.  But my problem with the concept (although I don't specifically know how you do it) is the necessity of some sort of recording keeping to track everything.  I don't think any knowlegable hobbyist would be comfortable with idea of his name being in some 'little black book.'  If he visits you frequently enough that you know & remember each other, I think I'd personally be more comfortable with an 'each time' discount if one were offered as opposed to something in black & white.  

My 4th session used to be free & it was very popular.  However, now that my rate is so low ($175 an hour).  It would not make good business sense to have such a program now.

Some "loyalty programs" maintain their record by having the customer keep the record (usually a card of some sort).  As long as you (the customer) aren't concerned about a SO finding the record, it should satify concerns about the security of record keeping.
