I applaud that you take a stance on how YOU want to screen...and who YOU want to see.
The subject has often come up and most guys think that because a hooker posts an ad she has to just see anyone...any time.
Most of the gals I know have a method to their madness. And when I've been given the dissertation on the how's and why's of what the hooker does...I can only nod my head. And most of the time it makes sense. There are those that clearly have NO reasons why they do shit...but if they think it makes them safer...go for it.
And yea...I've seen hookers without having ever seen a site..a pic..or a review. But that is ONLY because of a reference from a very trusted guy or gal pal.
You gonna go see a hooker you haven't seen pictures of or doesn't have reviews? Didn't think so.
I travel once or twice a month for business and I like to see someone occasionally when I travel. While I understand the need for screening information, I wan to make sure the lady is available before I give out all of the information. My process is to email them to see if they are available and then if they are I will give them what they need.
My question: is this an unreasonable process? I usually get about one reply for every 4 emails I send. I don't know why a provider would got to all of he trouble to set up a web site, post ads on the various escort sites and then not respond. The provide their email in their ads.
Comments and opinions?
I would think. Most times I will not even respond to an email that just says, "Hey hottie, R U available," because I don't deal with people who butcher the English language and have no tact, but if a guy simply says he is coming to town and would like to make sure I am available before submitting info. I have no problems with that.
wouldn't be getting back to Back in Black anytime soon after his contact..
I don't know how one can write like that. Trust me, I've tried. Its not easy.
him to bother responding. If I just thought it was some doofus...pass!
it does mean extra correspondence which the provider may decide she doesn't have time for if she has other requests from people who are sending all of their info up front, making them easier to screen.
I receive dozens, if not hundreds (when I'm on tour), of emails every single day, and sorting through and responding to them can take hours (some are spam, but it still takes time to identify and delete those). So I tend to give priority to the guys who make it easy, and those are the guys who send their info in their first email. When I have to follow up with someone, I tend to respond later (because I respond to the 'easy' ones first), and sometimes by the time I get all of their info, I'm already booked up for the day they are hoping for.
I understand if you don't want to give your personal info to someone who may not be available, but surely you could include your references' names and contact info, and/or your verification site info up front -- it's not as if it is hard to include the info in your initial email. If you still don't want to do that, you should make sure to state that you have references and/or are okay with screening in your initial email.
FBI security clearance info. when it is just a damn website, email, and name of another lady in the biz. If you have to "ask your reference" if it is ok to use her, do that BEFORE you send an email telling us that. I simply do not see the hang up about not wanting to do that. MOST women in this biz are more than happy to provide references, because we rely on them and want the same courtesy. Send your board handle, email, hobby phone number, and refs in the very first email if you have them. If it is personal info. that I can understand withholding until you have a confirmed slot available.

Trust me on this one..I have drafted some very professional emails to women, who would not even acknowledge it. Then there are those who would start a dialogue and would abruptly end the communication for no valid reason....
Now, there are some who are organized, but they are a minority. If you are getting 1/4 that's not bad. Make sure you include the info that you feel comfortable with in your email for her to verify...
Now, some hooktards require you to send a photo with the email. I will highly discourage unless you want your mug shot plastered all over the Internet, should you end up pissing someone off.
High volume providers are usually the ones who are not organized, because they do more fkin than surfing the net or checking emails. I on the other hand, am on the net all day long from either a PC, Ipad, or a phone, so very easy to send a response out asap.
When you are trying to schedule and screen 3-4 clients a day, I simply do not see how some do it. I would need a pimp or booker at least, to handle that mess....and an ice pack too.

Lincoln's Legacy - Emancipation Proclamation (A new movie is releasing BTW on 11/16....Trailors look good)
Bush's Legacy - misunderestimate
London's Legacy - Hooktard ![]()
Let's hope your not one of those hobbyists who insists a lady plaster her face shot on her website for friends family and LE to see. And that's without pissing anybody off. There is no need for anyone's face to be associated with an illegal activity...and have it plastered all over the internet.
Blur your face all you want. As long as you have good reviews, and are my body type, I will see you.
I actually like a little bit if suspense walking in the incall wondering what the lady looks like...
At least on this topic.
prostitute in order to make your experience that much better.
Consider with whom you are dealing. Not the "Lady Like" caring image you get of her here. TER treads lightly on what we politely call a provider. Call it like it is prostitution, that is best to keep in mind. There in business! It's marketing. Ever heard of a 21 year old MD getting $300/hr-$600/hr You don't know them. They do everything possible so you don't know them. They seem to need to know some things about you.
Now keep in mind why most are in the business. It's the easiest way to make money. As a provider said earlier she screens her email the easiest way. You're going to give out your important information to somebody you don't know, who may get your info on her I phone, that she loses. It could be found and it turned over to the police rather than sold.
I don't need some brain washed fool to defend them. I'm not attacking any provider, they talk about this themselves on the boards. I'm just reminding you to use the head on your shoulders and maybe some outside info. This is the capitalist system and that's what they're doing "taking care business"
Do you really think if a provider has a phone number she's not as good?
Requiring a photo with my screening, does it really make me stupid? I mean, it seems like you are combining the words hooker and retard, which is mean to retards who have diminished mental capacity from birth and may have qualities of mind you don't even know about but anyway, not here to defend retards, but I think it's incredibly smart to require a photo. I always know who is showing up. Not knowing who is showing up at your door is pretty risky--and also it usually helps me to verify them, lots of people have websites and social networks these days that are easy to check; I live in a town where there isn't a huge hobby market and the greater percentage of my clients are newbies with no references...and having one final failsafe (not the guy in the picture? Don't open the door, duh) is my main reason...but also just having a couple too many of people I had to put on a bad act for show up, sigh.
If you don't want to see someone who wants a photo that is a choice, but it doesn't make me stupid. I delete the photos immediately after viewing. In fact, I think I was very stupid to ever let anyone I had not laid eyes on have my address, jeez. Live and learn.
hooktard used before, you haven't been around GD board for a long time....
Based on your review history you seem to be pretty new, and honestly speaking you are paranoid for asking someone their photo, and they just plain stupid (fucktards) to comply with your requirements. I have been in the hobby for 10 years, and have never been asked a photo. There are guys who have been in hobby for more than 30 yrs, and I am sure their experience wouldn't be too different from mine...
If you chose prostitution as your career choice, you basically chose occupation where you are going go have to suck a strangers dick. Deal with it...
Also, let me bust your bubble with this tidbit of information. Just because a guy sends his photo doesn't mean that he is not psycho. He could still pull a gun on you or try to rape you. If your fears were any true, and coupled with that fact that most (99.99%) of women don't require a photo submission, you should really see this board flooded with rape and murder incidents.
This shows that your fears are really unfounded...
Actually doesn't have anything to do with fear...I said it serves as one final fail safe after my routine screening...and frankly there are just guys I will not see...stated on my site bold and clear. I am NOT gonna have some dude I have not seen show up at my door. Not gonna put some poor guy through the ordeal of having him show up here and say sorry, I just can't. Just because it's my chosen profession doesn't mean I can't have standards. You choose who you will see and so do I. Doesn't make me a hooktard because I don't follow YOUR ideas of how I should run my business, sigh. And I don't give a fuck what 99.9 percent of people do, in this business or in life...I do things MY way, and I always will.
You gonna go see a hooker you haven't seen pictures of or doesn't have reviews? Didn't think so.
so I am not going to see anyone without checking out her pics before. You, on the other hand, are doing this to put food on the table and roof over your head. So asking for a potential client for a picture of him is just bad business.
I am not telling you how to run your shop, just informing you are doing is just weird, bordering paranoia, and for lack of a better term, plain stupid.
Also, you having access to fucktards' photos put their security at risk. How the heck we believe that you will delete it and not hold on to them for some sort of revenge?
And BTW, you DON'T even show your face on the website....How is that fair?
-- Modified on 11/9/2012 8:06:00 PM
Honestly I don't really care what you believe or what you think. You ARE trying to tell me how to run my business by saying that what I am doing is weird and stupid and you are a paying customer so you are right. Well, you can choose where you give your business, but I do not want anyone's business who won't follow my protocol. I have NEVER subscribed to the policy that the customer is always right and I've walked out on every job that ever upheld such an idea when the customer was clearly in the wrong. I don't tolerate assholism in any way shape or form. Just ask my ex's, LOL.
I have had ZERO problems getting plenty of business, more than I need to be very happy, and unlike some I guess, I will not take business from anyone just because they have money.
And your implication that just because you have been hobbying for ten years means you know how I should run my business is just plain silly. I've only been selling "time" for a relatively short amount of "time" in your opinion, compared to someone who has ten years experience buying it so you definitely know what I should do in my life and I should bow down and take your advice, I know I know. I'm just screwing myself every which way, sigh.
Like I said, visit who you want and do what you feel comfortable doing. Anyone who doesn't feel comfortable turning over their photo should not contact me and it's clearly stated on my site...and I've already told you my reasons several times so I'm done explaining myself after this. Say whatever you like, it will not change my mind or "enlighten" me in any way. My system works perfectly for me and that's how it's going to stay.
You may be the customer buying the product, but I am delivering a certain kind of service that is not meant to be mechanical or an act. If I was in Hollywood, I would not say yes to a script that I didn't think I could properly deliver on and same goes for this. Why do I want to take someone's money if I can't give him the experience he is paying for? That's just not the kind of person I am...I am a bad actress...there are a few types that turn me completely off and I can't even pretend to be OK with it. And if they show up at my door I feel sick inside, it insults my spirit and I just cannot betray myself in that way...no matter what you may think of the profession altogether, I don't share your views on everything and at the end of the day, I'm the one who has to look in the mirror and be OK with who I am. I don't know how many more ways I can repeat myself, you don't seem to "get it." Also, I may not show my face, but you have a pretty damn good idea of what you are walking, whereas I have no idea unless you give me something. And rather than hang a sign on the door that says, "I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" I'll just head it off at the pass and that's the end of that.
Also, I have enough reviews to say that I deliver what I say I deliver...but I don't know what will happen when you walk through my door if we do not connect. You may be seeking a kind of experience that I cannot offer you. I need something to tap into on an energetic level. I tried explaining to you about the intuition part...that the ability to make a connection is more important to me than other things like physical appearance...just ask my ex's LOL...but do you want to walk into the "office" of a terrible actress who is repulsed by your touch? I wouldn't want to pay $300 for that and I wouldn't want you to either. Trust me, asking for a photo is doing my clients a service. Take it or leave it. End spiel.
Take care~
You will do whatever makes you happy.
I would never send you my pic...but that is irrelevant to the issue. As long as someone else will, and you have enough to pay your rent...stick with this formula.
What I will suggest is that at some point you will look back and realize that pics are meaningless...especially when you're trying to convince the mongers that "you need it for the connection". That is a total crock of shit....seriously.
But I have seen many gals who have their own bizarre rituals...and enough johns will jump through those hoops. Or not..and they stop the nonsense.
It's all part of learning how to be a hooker.

I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything... you think whatever you want. Your begining point is valid, but calling my method a crock of shit is an opinion not a truth.
The bottom line is, dude does what he feels comfortable with and allows him to feel safe. I do what makes me feel comfortable and safe, and if our two paths do not cross because we have different ideas of what that means, than it is what it is.
Not gonna walk into a store when I don't know what they are selling or what I am looking for and think I might come out pleasantly surprised...I only go to stores that have what I want.
And my bottom line is this: I have never had a bad experience when I saw a picture. I had bad experiences BEFORE I required a picture. Good chance when I look back, THAT is what I will continue to remember.
Anyway, don't know why anyone would get their panties in a twitch about what some dumb hooktard chooses to do anyway...lol. Chances are no one busting my balls was planning a trip to Alaska anytime soon.
You are not selling your time, you are selling your body....
Hope you sort all your issues..
Take care..No hard feelings ![]()
Whether it be one's physical body or intellectual abilities or their labor which they sell it is all a commodity. Therefore, anyone who wouldn't go to work if they weren't getting paid to do so qualifies as a whore.
I think "capitalist" is the proper term but whore is fine as well ![]()
Hope you sort all your issues..

I think "capitalist" is the proper term but whore is fine as well
Wow!
While my post was meant to be a bit tongue-in-cheek, I stand behind my logic.
I suppose you would go to work if you weren't getting paid to do so, Mr. High and Mighty? Of course you wouldn't.
You "work" - trading whatever skill set you have and expending your energy - in order to earn a living. Perfectly acceptable, yes?
Now please share whatever convoluted line of logic which leads you to believe that trading sex in order to earn a living is any different. Go ahead - I'm waiting....
For someone who hires whores you certainly seem to have an extremely low level of respect for them.
I think "capitalist" is the proper term but whore is fine as well
Wow!
I think we should just enjoy the fact that these guys who whore themselves out to corporations think they aren't whores...because we get paid much better, we are smarter whores. Let the cute little fella think he is in a free country while we are at it ![]()
Agreed, and we probably shouldn't tell him about Santa Claus either....shhhhh ![]()

Your premise "If A = B, then B = C" is invalid.
Sorry to burst your little bubble, but my logic is sound.
It's different because social mores have dictated it's different. Collectively, we as a society have determined that going to work at a traditional job is the acceptable norm. Similarly, we have determined that wearing clothes is the norm. Finally, society overall does not look positively upon people out having random sexual encounters.
Like it or not, "whore" does not have the positive connotation that, say, "doctor" has.
If what you do was the "same," I would see "Developed innovative technique for sucking cock" on the resume's I see.
I'm not being "high and might," I'm being realistic. You might try it sometime.
You sell sex, that's fine, but it's hardly the same.
You are correct - hiring someone has nothing to do with respecting them. However, you yourself allude to my point in regards to that particular statement of mine later in your post when you state that "society overall does not look positively upon people out having random sexual encounters". Since a whore and her patron both participate in a random sexual encounter by nature of their relationship, wouldn't it be a bit hypocritical for the patron of a whore to look down upon her for being a whore? Clearly it would be - and especially so if the patron visits whores as a hobby.
Moving right along...
Your logical interpretation of my premise is incorrect due to your apparent misunderstanding of what a premise encompasses. Any correct premise can be broken down to the basic formula of A = A
While they themselves exist, social mores cannot determine what exists and what does not. Social mores cannot determine value and society does not determine reality - nor premise. At various points in history, society has collectively determined that witches float and that the earth is flat. According to social mores, slavery was once an acceptable norm. Until fairly recently, it was socially unacceptable for a woman to work at all.
A whore may earn six figures a year working eight hours a week, while a lawyer probably works eight hours a day. A lawyer must invest seven years in school and several hundred thousand dollars, while being a whore requires none of this. This is cost benefit analysis and this is where social mores come into play. "Lawyer" has a positive social connotation, whereas "whore" is seen as extremely negative. It is because of the high social cost that whores are able to earn what they earn. As any honest working lady will tell you, the social cost of being a whore is very high.
However, a trade is still a trade. There is no difference in premise. A whore and a lawyer trade in totally different commodities, yet both are traders. A = A.
I suppose you would go to work if you weren't getting paid to do so, Mr. High and Mighty? Of course you wouldn't.

You seem to want your conclusion to be that all workers are whores, but you haven't supported it.

A whore MAY earn 100K but may also be on the corner sucking dick for 50 bucks. A lawyer MAY earn 100K but MAY be doing doc review for 25K, and the social costs/benefits will vary as well.
However, a trade is still a trade. There is no difference in premise. A whore and a lawyer trade in totally different commodities, yet both are traders. A = A.
So.......
All whores are human (All A are B)
A lawyer is a human. (C is B)
So all lawyers are whores? (Therefore C is A) No, doesn't work.
I think that you and I are having a disagreement of premise which goes deeper than the debate at hand. The point I'm trying to make is that there is no intrinsic difference between prostitution and any other job. What you seem to be saying is that there is a difference, and that the difference lies in the fact that society has determined it to be different. Believe it or not we're actually saying the same thing - except that I'm not crediting society as being determinant of value. As you mentioned there are different definitions of "value", which can very generally be categorized as economic value and philosophical value. Economic value is a whole other debate, LOL, but here I'm referring to philosophical value - and I maintain that society does not determine philosophical value. In my previous post, I gave several examples of how society's values have changed. To say that society determines value is to say that value is subjective - a premise with which I strongly disagree.
We could go on all damn day about this - but this is a fk board not a philosophy classroom, so I'm going to keep the heavy philosophical debates to where I can earn credit for it. That way, if I'm still here in ten years, I'll be able to honestly say it's completely by choice ![]()

we ever want to do anything else. I hate to burst YOUR bubble, but not all hookers want to fk old, fat, hairy guys with saggy balls. Some of them want to see what you look like so they can detect the up chuck factor before quoting you a rate lol. Yea, I know it sucks even having a hooker paid to fk random people turn you down, but welcome to the year of the hooker.
I also understand wanting to protect your identity, I'm just saying I wouldn't buy a pig in a poke. (No offense intended by the pig reference)
Is this post not combining different threads?
I am anti-alias, I just created this one because another post about such attributes made me laugh and made me think of this name.
If you are successful at running your business that way, more power to you. But I'm with Curly on this one. I'll give you references, verification service and a general physical description if you want them (hey, if you choose not to see fat, one-armed dwarves like me or only men who are "height/weight proportional", I'm not bothered..)I'll give you maybe even more info if you want it. But a picture, nope. I'll cheerfully see someone else. You are entitled to require what you want to feel safer. But so I am I, and putting my picture on your phone or computer is not a risk I would choose to take.
Incidentally, while I'm certainly not that experienced compared to many other posters here, I've never had a lady even ask for a pre date picture. A couple have asked about things like age, height and weight. Again it's your business, but being outside the norm may - or may not- eventually affect your business, and you may not even know it.

One of my biggest pet peeves is a gentleman that sends his personal information without even being asked. That includes references. Most women don't agree with me. They want all the information in the first contact. My theory is if a man doesn't care about his own personal life; he's careless and is a risk to my own personal life.
When asking for her availability, assure her that you are willing to be screened.
My question: is this an unreasonable process? I usually get about one reply for every 4 emails I send. I don't know why a provider would got to all of he trouble to set up a web site, post ads on the various escort sites and then not respond. The provide their email in their ads.
Comments and opinions?
According to one provider's site, she gives priority to applicants who have supplied all required information.
wants a date in 12 hours and guy B who has supplied NONE also asks for that same time, who is the safer bet, easier to screen, and easier to book with all things considered? My guess is guy A. I mean a guy has to know that refs take time to get back to us, so not giving them forces us to have to ask in another email back to him, he has to send them, we then have to look them up. Guy A is probably already good to go because we contact those refs or look up his screening ID before we even respond.
Now, now...if the lady's suitors actually are providing her with photos prior to their meet, well, for lack of a more original way of phrasing - the hooker is not a retard. She's getting what she wants. On the other hand, if she's having trouble booking...well than I'm sure she'll eventually reconsider her policies. "Stupid", or fucktard, in the way it was phrased at least, is a relative term. There are people out there who would call anyone who pays for companionship "stupid". I would beg to differ, as the enormous growth in both supply and demand within the marketplace clearly states that paying for companionship is definitely not stupid. Same with the photo policy. Let the market speak....it always does!
Mind you, I've never asked anyone for a photo, although I've had plenty of gentlemen send one on their own accord. When they do I appreciate it as just another piece of the mental picture I like to have of someone before meeting them - but the best "screening" IMO - better than provider references, better even than whitelists, recommends, and okays - is whatever rapport I'm able to establish prior to our date.
There was a time when if a potential suitor sent me his photo I would say to myself - WTF do I care what he looks like? Now that I'm a little older (32) and more mature I see my clients as people rather than walking ATMs (I enjoy my job a lot more now as well). My point however is that some gentlemen want to feel like the lady they are going to meet does in fact care what they look like.
Then again....bitches will be bitches, and bitches be crazy sometimes! LOL.....so I also understand the hesitation - or total unwillingness - a gentleman may have if asked to provide a photo.
It's somewhat of an interesting topic...I peruse this board on occasion and felt like adding my .02 on it anyway. Nice to meet y'all...I'm Kelly James from Phoenix ![]()
In regards to the OP - no that's not an unreasonable process. I don't require personal info on a first email myself, but I do insist upon a proper introduction. When going through my email I give priority to those from individuals who I think I'd get along with best.
My question: is this an unreasonable process? I usually get about one reply for every 4 emails I send. I don't know why a provider would got to all of he trouble to set up a web site, post ads on the various escort sites and then not respond. The provide their email in their ads.
Comments and opinions?
A lot get fed up with some of the wierd stuff they get sent by people, answering questions already pasted all over their websites, spam emails offering this that and the other, sometimes not on private wifi to go lookinto that email account, get so bugged off some days knowing you are going to get some strange stuff don't bother going in it for a week. xx
