Right after I renewed, I got an email saying I have donated $1 to The International Foundation for the Protection of Children. This is unauthorized and is in addition to my renewal fee.
Has anyone else experienced this? Not that I am against donating to charities, but I have not authorized this and I don't even know if this foundation is legitimate.
When you make a payment for membership, at the bottom of the page there is a line asking whether or not you want to donate $1 to this group. The box is already checked and you have to un-check it in order not to donate. You just didn't see it. TER or iBill (don't know who's behind the donation) has no way of knowing if you wanted to or missed it, they just see a checked box. So you actually did authorize it.
Unfortunately it looks like your attempt to purchase VIP membership has failed due to your card being declined. Good news is that we have several other payment options that you could try.
