I didn't even begin as an escort until after I graduated from college, worked in my chosen field then owned my own business. I got into this on a lark and didn't think there was much money to be made in it. I was wrong.

I worked as an escort on weekends and some evenings for a full year before I decided to close my legit business down and do this full time. I liked my other business but this made more money for fewer hours and there is so much more freedom doing this.

It always makes me wonder if you hobby guys think this is a horrible way to make a living. Seems all the questions I've read over the years make the stated or unstated assumption that this is either a means to an end or something we get into out of financial desperation. Neither is the case with me, and I can't be the only one who is here 100% by choice and not by lack of choice.

Escorting is a nice, relatively easy way to make money. Through the years I've managed my money well enough that I rarely need to work and am now only working about 40 days out of the year.

If this business is done right it is a damn good way to make a living while having a fantastic quality of life.

Just marketing. There are some who can hold a decent conversation but let's be real...............conversation isn't my goal.


A typical 9-5(IMO)can't satisfy the need for $600 shoes lol. I have a very lucrative position and I don't have $600 shoes nor do I desire them.

I work FT (very good money) and like to book a couple times a month for extra play money. Sure, I could take that play money out of the 30% I give to my 401K per paycheck, but I'd rather not when I can just get it from a couple of men I like hanging out with any way (as long as on paid time of course).

When I escorted full-time, I didn't do it completely b/c of the money, but the freedom. There is NOTHING like waking up everyday and deciding if you want to work but having several months of living expenses taken care of as a result of the small number of hours you worked earlier in the month compared. Nope, the average person can't do that.

I got my second degree in 2011, then did a 2 year internship FOR FREE, whilst doing this. Even a Master's degree today without 5 years hardcore experience, amounts to less than what we make here. I had a 5 year plan for escorting, and I am retiring before 2014. I did EXACTLY what I said and planned to do.

Enable it! I think that's an obvious answer. It's for the money. Why do it for free when you do not have to?  Who cares about a job market when you are taught the skills to make your own way. I mean it is so many ways to make money. If you can have multiple sources of income your going to take advantage of it. I majored in textiles which is a global trade and I do not have to work for an employer to put my degree to use as a freelance designer or international seller but its always good to work/network  with others who share a common goal. Hooking is more profitable only if you choose it to be. Thanks for your concern I think I will take a few more marketing classes this year lol. I mean look around people push products and services on us each day. Turn on the tv. Commercial. Get on the Internet pop up ads. Read a magazine. Half of that is ads too. That's just the world of sales we live in.

Although this career path is profitable, a major perk is the amount of time you have to study, excel in school and intern at any place that you'd like due to the flexibility. I would like to utilize my MBA at some point but more on a self employed venture rather than a corporate atmosphere which I do not like or agree with very much.
