The Newer Term FMTY & Touringred_smile

I’ve been a provider or companion for many years under a different moniker and was extremely popular several years ago, then exited the business about two years ago. I’ve just returned a few months ago and I keep seeing the term FMTY and ladies advertising and marketing on all the different social media platforms.

My question is how popular or realistic is this fly me to you stuff?!  I’m used to traveling and touring occasionally, driving to you if it’s within 2hrs of my base city and multi hour or overnights, but I’ve only actually been booked about 5-10x  for fmty and  they were all overnights and weekends with my regular clients I trusted.

I can’t imagine doing a fmty situation with a new client who I’ve never spent at least an hour or two with beforehand.

What’s your personal experience and perspectives on this?

I did 5 last year & they all went well. Touring doesn’t always work for me because I’m a single Mom. Fly me to you always works fabulously. I am an escort, so I have no problem getting flown to you, entertaining and fly home. I prefer to have 1 person to care for, but that’s my personal preference.

😁 I am always available upon request fly me to you International, or Domestic. I have TSA precheck and Global Entry. I have no problem flying to accommodate anyone who deserves notable treatment. I don’t need my own bed, or room, nor do I require certain hours of sleep, or private time alone, and I don have a minimum hours needed to book. FMTY are my personal favorite it allows us to get lost in each other without having to worry about the time.  Every provider is different. After over 20 years in this thrilling industry I believe I am at the top of my game it only gets better. I offer discounts for more time booked because I love getaways, and vacations.

Yes I have done FMTY, but no, absolutely not with a guy I have never met. All of mine have been actual vacation trips where I either flew with the gent or he flew me separately to the vacation spot and we met up there. I don't even book dates anymore longer than 90 minutes if I have never met the guy before. As to how often ladies fly to a random stranger to spend the weekend with them I have no idea, but that would be a giant hella no for me regardless of the amount of $$ being offered.

I do think FMTYs are popular, especially if you've built your brand up to it and/or market it well, and I would also argue that they're entirely realistic—though, for me personally, I had to build my brand to get to a place where it made sense.

Like you, I used to & still do tour occasionally, but these days, I mostly only tour if it's been "sponsored" (i.e., someone books a 4-6 hour dinner date). And while I still offer "DMTY" (Drive Me to You) for the 4-5 larger cities surrounding Minneapolis, my schedule isn’t quite what it used to be. I own a "brick-and-mortar" business now, and while it's doing well, it still requires a lot of my time and attention, so I no longer have the same luxury of free time I once did.

That said, I do accept FMTY requests from new clients. Looking at my 2024 analytics, I had about 13 FMTY bookings last year—8 with regulars and 5 with new people. The bookings with new folks went so well and I have seen them again. Prior to 2024, I also accepted FMTYs from new clients and some have turned into some amazing, long-term relationships! One first-time 3-day FMTY to Miami has turned into bi-annual trips, another flew me to Cali for his 60th birthday (now we see each other once a year), and a third dinner date FMTY to North Carolina evolved into a beautiful travel companionship—we’ve now traveled to Montana, London, and a few other places together.

For new clients I meet via FMTY, I do like to build a couple of things into the package/patronage to help build rapport before we meet. For example, I offer a texting package (if allowed), a phone call or two, or even Zoom chats to help us get to know each other and create some familiarity. Also, for new clients, I typically recommend keeping the initial meeting to 12 hours or less, unless they’re absolutely sure—but by the time you're getting into that territory, you're typically pretty sure.

And now, I really, really hope this doesn't offend anyone here, but you know that $500 client vs. $50,000 client meme (that number is hyperbolic for a reason)? There’s a reason why every small business owner—regardless of industry—sees that meme and goes “YES!!! SO TRUE!” But seriously, there’s a grain of truth to it, even in this industry. It's all about understanding the value of time and investment—and those who truly get it, show up ready to invest in a way that builds something long-lasting.

FMTY has been around for a while, but it was mostly used by very high end providers or porn stars. It does help in a marketing sense because it makes a provider seem more cosmopolitan, sophisticated and fun. It used to only work when someone has established a national brand. There are probably a few reasons why it is more prevalent these days. Social media and OF has given providers the ability to reach way beyond their home market. Tryst makes it easier to advertise in multiple markets at once. Also, getting "flown out" was a thing on Instagram. Also, providers these days increasingly want to position themselves as high end and it does help.
.
I've never done a FMTY. When I lived in suburbs, I've done some trans and cars, so TMTY and DMTY. I've also flown myself to some escorts. I definitely planned some vacations around visiting a certain escort or two. If you're in a big city it usually doesn't make sense to do a FMTY because you have so many options and touring providers usually make pretty regular stops.

I’ve done fmty a few times but only with an established regulars. Just picked up the flight cost and we slept together. The area I lived in was touristy she enjoyed it.

Welcome  Back,  @AmyAdamsAtx!

Early  in  my  Courtesan  Career,  I  was  blessed  to  experience  many  FMTY
encounters,  via  exclusive  Clientele  which I  procured.

My  initial  business  was  solely  based  on  "word-of-mouth"  from  said  Clientele,
due  to  our  appearances  at  very  public  venues  for dining,  sporting  events  and
 "Industry"  soirees.

Various  friends  of  my  Clients  would  inquire  as  to  who  I am,  thus  a  discrete
acquaintance  was  solidified  without  the  "traditional"  verification  of  references.

( I  would  otherwise  be  fearful  to  sojourn  to  a  complete  stranger's  destination;
that's  just  the  circumspection  in  me,  as  my  life  is  more  important  than  any  $$. )

This  led  to  flights  often  2  to  4  times  a  week.
Thank  goodness  most  were  private  flights  enabling  solo  time,  for  beauty  sleep,
fine  cuisine  and  the  savoring  of  the  journey  en route.

Currently,  my  FMTY  excursions   must  be  well-planned,  without  much  spontaneity,
and  ultimately  most  remunerative.

Most  sought-after  are  lengthy  FMTY  opportunities  or  luxury  vacations  due  to  the
numerous  personal  commitments  I  must  attend  to  at  home;  family,  pets,  and  a
"civvie"  career.

Whereas  early-on,  I'd  accept  numerous  short  trips  which  were  usually  spontaneous
financially  lucrative  and  too  exciting  to  ever  decline.

Many providers will demand first class or business class airfare, which can significantly impact the cost.   If you can afford it, great, but even reasonably well off clients may not be willing to pay several thousand dollars more just for airfare.
But I believe everyone should get what the market can bear, so it must work for some providers.

1) your city/market AND the airlines that dominate that market
2) if that provide is loyal to a particular airline
3) how far in advance you are planning

As a Minneapolis based provider, I prefer to fly Delta if/when I can since they own about 80% of the market in MSP; however, I'm well aware that they are not always the most affordable. I would argue most providers are willing to work around this. In addition, planning ahead is going to save you money... usually.

I remember they felt incredibly rare in the past and it was a big deal getting booked for one, but in 2024 I had a FMTY or two almost every month (3 or 4 with clients I had never met before). I'm sure part of the rise has to do with ease of sending payments electronically, especially if a client is interested in niche services or lives in a city that doesn't get a lot of touring providers; if you can, why wouldn't you?
