Ladies- Where are your favorite places to tour at different times of the year?

Guys-Same question if you could afford to visit?

Personally.

NYC- from October through New Years Eve because there is not another city more beautiful at that time of year except for Paris.

California- when the grapes are ripe for the picking and you can attend a Wine Tasting in the desert without burning up.

Florida Panhandle- late August through October because it's warm enough to play in the water and the towns are not as crowded with Spring Breakers and Vacationers. Also, Resort and Condo rates drop to almost nothing.

Colorodo- right before and after Ski Season but still snow on the ground, because you can get log cabin rentals for under 200 a night.

Tennessee- Most any time. Chattanooga is probably my favorite city because of Lookout Mountain and Ruby Falls, with Nashville being a close second because of the CMA awards and various celebs.

Chicago- Summer only for obvious reasons lol.

North Carolina- during the Spring because of how gorgeous the Biltmore Estate is... Christmas too, but does not compare to NYC.

Key West- During Fantasy Fest if you're a damn freak and love crowds... I don't lol.

New Orleans- Halloween, Jazz Fest, French Quarter Fest and Mardi Gras, not that you'll make any money there during that time.

Vegas- NEVER lol.

Any hidden gems we need to know about?

New England in mid October when the foliage is out is hard to beat.

I forgot about New England... OMG, Love  Martha's Vineyard/Cape Cod and CT during the fall before it's too snowed in to walk. Hawaii, never thought about it for work, but damn straight I would go back!

I agree with Kauai (but not fish's spelling of it) but Maui's just as great.  I'd say it's better in the winter if you're from a cold climate.
The Greek islands (not making an anal sex joke here), especially Kefalonia, just south of Corfu.  Great in the summer.
The Amalfi Coast of Italy, one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Summer
Lake Como or Lugano, northern Italy.  Summer
Morocco, Fez, Marrakesh or the less-known Essaouira.  Very nice in the spring.
The Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.  Winter.  Yes, amazing chicas but also beautiful beaches, deep sea fishing, wildlife.
And then there are all the places I haven't been

Beautiful south side of Chicago...any time of the year is great.

Always something fun...and exciting.  Bike rides are expected and educational as well.

And maybe Oprah will show up?  Or Barry?  You just never know.

I know you have been here a few times. You can do better than that!

And I thought she was talking about touring for "hobby purposes." Sounds like you are talking about vacations. As someone who lives in Hawaii, and hobbies here, (and knows many providers who live here and tour here), I can tell you Kauai and the Big Island are NOT great places for hobbying! Just ask hammerhead!

Is there a reason for the random capitalization of sombrero?

Are you ROGM?

When are you booking your accommodations to see the beautiful sights on south Ashland Avenue?

First bike ride is on me...if you can find me anywhere near there.  Oh...make sure to bring a bullet proof vest.  They're all the rage around there right now.

But the reality is, the biz is not that good on the Big Island. Sure you will see someone for a few hours, but how much other business will they drum up? I always tell providers to come to Hawaii with the intent of having a great vacation, and always encourage them to visit the other islands. But if they come with the intent of making serious coin, they could leave very disapointed.  If they come for vacation and also drum up some business, they will most likely end up with a nice vacation with all expenses paid.

I was not referring to Kauai, but another very small island off the coast of The Big Island that I call Kawaii.  In fact, it is so small, that I carry it there in my carry on bag and blow it up when I go there.

Yeah, that's the ticket.  8o)

Hard to beat socal beach life however it 25 degrees hotter than normal right now. Climate change? The cape is fun but more for families. Wine country in California is hot in the summer time.

Best summertime vacation ever?  Houseboating on Lake Powell,Mead or Havasu. Jet skiing and partying daytime. Skinnydipping at nite.

North Carolina was super busy for me during this time, but this is my go-to in the spring as well. I escape the cold to cool weather of the Midwest and drive closer to the sunlight here... After the winter blues, it's like coming out of a dark and dreary cave (weather wise) into complete bliss. The sun makes me happy.

NYC is fun for weekend getaways with clients. (I've only done that once lol.) But I also went personally - most likely won't visit again by myself because I spend all my money. Sales people are very pushy. But with a friend, it's so fun to explore, which is why I like the one guy dates there.

DC during any political event. (Not when Govt workers are off or there's a freeze in their work!)

Chicago for my very low volume times when I need to get everything in order, visit with some family & friends, and just live my life and stare at the tall buildings like a dumb tourist - even though I'm not a tourist lol.

Nashville Tennessee will be on my checklist when I want to badger very artsy Fartsy or business people in the arts with a bunch of random, abstract questions and ideas.

San Francisco when I'm rich and don't have to work at all.

Panhandle when I need some time chasing a psychic cat around...

DC will be coming soon when I decide I want to see my beloved DC gents...

Milwaukee when I just need to make a big wad of cash very quickly... No other reason lol... Idk why but I do well there, but rarely go...

Mexico when I need to hide from someone. JK :D

not to mention Cartagena, and Santa Marta which are great beach towns, and what's the name of that other little town in Colombia? oh yeah, Bogota. lol

and I will admit, one of the best things about Panama City, Panama is the fact that so many "paisas" from Medellin and Pereira come there to work:) I will confess it is hot all the time there, think Florida in the summertime type hot.

Ah - money's not the issue.  If it was, you'd be overjoyed with Oprah.

Clients must have bolted this year.  Too many audits, so you have to criticize Chicago on a post about escorts.  Debits are higher than credits, son.  Better reconcile fast!

cities in the winter. Specific cities don't really matter. It would depend on where the spirit moves me.

Yes, the Florida panhandle is wonderful from late Sept. until around Thanksgiving when the weather gets too cold. I have been in Chicago on St. Patrick's Day when the Chicago River is green which is quite a site. San Francisco is beautiful in the summer and fall when you can take a drive up to Napa for crushing season. SF also has the most great restaurants per capita than most any city I know of. I could go on but I'm tired of typing.

I just don't like the weather.... and not many places to travel. If you like beaches; Cartagena and Santa Marta in Colombia is better

GaGambler 1051 reads

I also have to agree that the beaches in both Cartagena and Santa Marta are much nicer than anything in Panama, especially the beach in Rodadero,

I noticed that both of us never gave Baranquilla so much as a mention. Truth be told, even though it too is right on the coast, I don't know if they even have a beach. Even if they do, Baranquilla is one the Colombian city I don't care much for.

I will say the best thing that Panama City has is all the Colombiannas that come there to work. That and the ease of getting there from several major airports in the US. Unless you fly out of Miami there are no non stop flights to anywhere in Colombia but Bogota, and then unless you plan on staying in Bogota you have to go from the International terminal to the national terminal which is a huge hassle, and I have missed almost every connecting flight that I have ever made through Bogota coming from Atlanta as the flight gets in so late. Of course "getting stuck" in Bogota really isn't such a bad thing. lol

My options on traveling are limited by my work, as I can only travel certain times of the year.   I've been needing a vacation for a while.

This year I plan on making a trip to Maine.  Fresh Lobster is calling me.

Some beach time in Florida is a necessity.  Hope the rains have dissipated by then..

And even a trip to Vegas.  Vegas is always fun
