Female condoms would appear to be as safe as male latex condoms.

I recently had a great experience with a west coast lady who showed up with female condoms. My first time ever using them and had a great evening! Why don't more ladies supply them?

more complicated to insert and you can still get STDs and pregnancy if inserted incorrectly

Male condoms are generally regarded as reducing risk for many (but not all) STDs by about 87%. Female condoms may do slightly better. I typed in (most of) an article in the Journal of Sexually Transmitted Diseases on this subject. It required two posts because of length restrictions on posts. they feel so close to not wearing anything. They don't irritate anyone allergic to latex. They are excellent for longer and thicker men as well as the size challeged men. Hmmm expensive though about $5 a piece $15 for a pack of 3? That is the real reason most providers don't use them in my opinion- plus they take up considerably more room in your purse- LOL
