I kind of disagree that fem power is ascendant. Guys have been comparing notes on the Internet now for a couple decades. Female behavior that used to be inscrutable to the individual male has been poked and prodded by thousands of guys who have shared the results online.

There's no reason to expect providers to be different than civies in this regard. Except for the few really "hot" guys, most women in their late teens or early 20's aren't so interested in guys their age. It is sort of a wasteland for young men from their late teens until early 30's. That's when the tables begin to turn and guys who have started to make a career and build some equity are now the targets of younger women.
