What will you do if the COVID-19 contact tracers contact you?

You may have read in the news that some states are hiring massive numbers of contact tracers as part of their reopening programs in order to identity and isolate those that may have been exposed to COVID-19 patients.

Read the linked article: it indicates that providers in Zambia have been providing information to contact tracers regarding their clientele of mostly truck drivers.

If you find yourself in a similar situation, what will you do?

Would you admit to contact with a provider or client, if you encounter a contact tracer? If so, would you be transparent about the nature of the contact, or would you have a plausible cover story for it?

Or would you deny it and pretend that the contact did not happen, in the interest of protecting the confidentiality of our business/hobby from the authorities? If so, could you plausibly deny it to the contact tracers, or is there evidence that the contact tracers would be able to obtain?

same thing I tell anyone who wants to know where I've been. . . . .  GFY.  The exception is if its LE, then I just say I don't remember because I'm old.

First, what exactly are they saying? If they ask did you pay to have sex with person A and so expose yourself to infection because person A tested positive I'm probably going to say I think they must have bad data or something.

If they simply note some form of tracking information connected us I'm not so concerned. It is not illegal to know or have contact with people, including sex workers. If contacted in that way I might both thank them for the information and go get tested. How much I might communicate regarding other connections they want to trace I would have to think about.

I suspect the REAL total is ten-twenty times higher than that, which makes contact tracing all but worthless with MILLIONS of people carrying the virus.

If I were contacted by a "contact tracer" I would most likely be polite, I would listed to what they had to say, especially if they were contacting me to let me know someone I had recently had sex with was positive for the virus, but would I answer ANY of their questions? Hell fucking no!!!

I wouldn't bother denying anything, I would simply refuse to answer their questions and hang up the phone once they started acting probative. As everyone who frequents these boards already knows, I have ZERO problem telling rude or invasive people to "GO FUCK YOURSELF" and if they started getting pushy those would be the last words they would here from me.

For the record, I imagine that almost everyone in this country will be exposed to this virus, just like all of us have been exposed to the regular flu, myself included of course. However there is a huge difference between being exposed to a virus and actually catching it. Big brother already knows enough about me, I am not going to willingly give the government more information that they can use against me someday.

I would simply say " I don't know what youre talking about, but thank you for your concern.  Now leave me the fuck alone"

People are not answering the phone. It is not going to work.

Half the deaths are from nursing homes.  Considering how rare the disease still is, it almost looks like nursing homes were targeted somehow.  But the alternate explanation is indeed that CV19 is everywhere -- just that for most people it is either a slight illness or not even noticed.  This is why lock-downs probably didn't help.  It was far too late.   Cases were spreading in late last fall.  Probably already in the USA long before anybody was aware it was even an issue.  Impossible to track even then if they knew now.  Now it is completely out of the question, it's everywhere.

This is from the CDC website:
"In contact tracing, public health staff work with a patient to help them recall everyone with whom they have had close contact during the timeframe while they may have been infectious.
Public health staff then warn these exposed individuals (contacts) of their potential exposure as rapidly and sensitively as possible.
To protect patient privacy, contacts are only informed that they may have been exposed to a patient with the infection. They are not told the identity of the patient who may have exposed them."

So, if you are contacted, you will not know who has named you.  After you have been contacted counseling regarding self-quarantine, testing etc is given. They are not going to ask you a bunch of questions regarding how you may have been exposed.

Uh oh. If a hostess is a link (infected or not) gives up my hobby phone or hobby email, CDC now has my hobby-only contacts? And now the CDC asks my for my other, real world contacts? Yikes!

The CDC would not have any of your contacts.  They would call you to tell you that you may have been exposed, but they aren't going to ask for your contacts. If you test positive, they will ask you if you can remember people you have been in contact with for the last 2-4 weeks. It is up to you if you tell them or not.
I don't understand the paranoia around this. if I recently saw a provider and tested positive for COVID-19, I would want to know so I could make some kind of plan for myself.

I've been doing my research as best I can given that TV is propaganda to further the 1% agenda and YouTube censors differing opinions.

Those with underlying health issues and over 70 years old seem to have higher mortality rates compared with H1N1.  Will we be SIP for H1N1 this Winter?!?!

Contract tracers are rat snitches and they can kiss my ass!!!  Of course, if LE comes knocking on the door deny everything....

We're all gonna die and I don't plan to take anyone with me and the idea of a 1984 World, via Gill Bates and WHO, is upon us.  Since we're already smooth criminals, we'll figure this shit out!

Papers?  I got you're fucking papers right here!!!

I don't hear much discussion about 'false positive'.  Could we already have been exposed to SARS (commonly known as swine and bird flu)?  Could we already have herd immunity?!  7 / 10 tests could be false positive!!!!!!!  Are we going to be rounded up and put in detention centers?!

They can kiss my ass!  I'm already a criminal.  It's time to figure out papers / chip deflection for the NWO my monger brothers; the NWO is beginning to feel alot like the movies of Nazi Germany.  And I'm part of the resistance!  Viva la libertad!!!
