As most can see in viewing my reviews I see mid priced escorts having went as high as $500 now on two occasions. First time I felt the higher price was worth the price in that she was super sweet and initiated round 2. This time I just shook my head and left feeling like an idiot.

My question is what if any additional expectations do you have with higher prices ladies. Not sure I am will to gamble like I did again.

I would expect to spend a lot more money.  

 
Other than that, once you get past a certain price point in this industry you most definitely encounter what is commonly known as "diminishing returns"

 
I will concede that higher priced ladies typically have nicer incalls, but aside from that I think any increase in service is purely coincidental. As for looks, looks are in the eyes of the beholder and since the majority of the higher priced providers have been at this for a while, a large percentage of them are older than I care for, so IMO they tend to be LESS attractive to me, rather than more. I am of course speaking in generalities, obviously some of the highest priced women do so because they are drop dead gorgeous and because of their looks they can command those lofty rates, but only "some" of them. On average I get better service with equal or better looks at the LOWER price points.

There is nothing a $1000 hooker can do that a $500 hooker can't do, and the $500 hookers often do it better and more enthusiastically.  As you move up the various price points, looks seem to be more of a factor than service, which is the reverse of what I'm looking for.  For me, service is king, and as long as she is at least average-pretty, and height-weight proportional, I will not hesitate to book, where my expectations for service will higher than my expectations for appearance.  With that said, my expectations for service will not be any higher at $500 than at $350.  I consider the two to be in the same general "range."

You haven't learned that the cost of service doesn't equate with services provided? You've given performance scores from 2 to 10, are you really saying that there has been a direct correlation to your donation?

 
I'd like to think at some price point that the hotel is nicer, the provider is more dolled up, etc... but it's not always the case.

I've read dozens of posts saying again and again how there's no difference between a 400 experience and a 600 or 700 experience. That just hasn't been my experience.  

At the higher rates, I have consistently seen better looking women. They keep themselves in shape and dress better; they tend to be more mindful of my dress requests. It's the difference between the women I see at the Ralph's vs. Whole Foods. And let's not forget that youth always demands a premium.  

On average I find that ladies at lower rates seem to be seeing more clients.  What I find is that this manifests itself in a bit more "get him up, off and out" approach. It can feel a little more like an assembly line. They tend to act less like courtesans.

Anyone who listens to me for more than 2 minutes knows I love duo sessions. I have found a huge difference between the rate levels on this front. For whatever reason the ladies at the higher end offer it more often and reliably perform better in duos. I've had more than one lady at the lower rates say they do this but when the moment arrived they were obviously uncomfortable. I can guess as to why this is but it just is. And same with BBBJ, CIM, kissing and DATY. At the higher rates I just see a greater "commitment" to the profession that manifests itself in higher level performance.  

None of this is uniform. I've had delightful experience at the 3 and 400 range and some real duds that cost me 1200.  But the trend--for me--is as I described it. And keep in mind that LA is an expensive town. Rents here in decent neighborhoods are outrageous so that of course pushes prices higher. But the bottom line for me is that I get marginal value for the additional marginal cost. Despite all that, if I found a couple of girls at 400 who rocked my boat, I would gladly pile up my frequent flyer points with them.

With the exception of two porn stars, the 1k girls I saw were no younger, prettier or hotter than the girls in the 300-500 price range.

If it were possible to get 23 year old real GFE models for a grand or more, I would be spending it. They don't exist in the hooker world.

Edited to add:Very few porn stars look as good in person as on screen so they are usually a waste of money.

And I distinctly recall asking myself after I booked with a gal who charged $600 why I was doing it. But she had quite a rep, I'd met her at a M&G so I knew she looked as good as her pix. The session was over the top, one of the most memorable I'd had to that point and when I left I said to myself, "That was worth every fucking penny!" I'm not sure there's a general rule that follows from this, but it's probably: Do your homework because the best can be worth it.
In fact, I just recalled another $600/hr. girl who was, if anything, even better. And I'd also met her at an M&G as well.
Homework, homework, homework. But since there are no more M&Gs, at least for a while, that kind of homework ain't possible.

In NYC anything under 500 would be on the lower end from what I have seen.  ＄600 (if it was NYC) is not much over the going rates.

Most of us do not go to "meet and greets"  for a variety of reasons.

That's why Meet & Greets were cool back in the day.  You could meet 15-20 ladies in a single night just to interact with them.  I met a young lady at a M&G who was DDG. Unfortunately, her prices started at 1000 and I am never doing that with anyone.  Anyway,  I can't see them coming back anytime soon.  

There are LOTS of high quality girls available between $300 and $400, though prices may have gone up a bit.
As for M&Gs, it depends on who's running it. The best M&Gs in NY and LV were run by very experienced mongers and very discreet. There was one glaring exception in NY about 5 years ago. That said, I can understand that some guys with a lot to lose might worry. But based on my experience, their worries would have been misplaced.

You were once outed. I have no idea if it was from a meet and greet but in the Bay Area guys have been outed thanks to M & G. Then there was that legal mess in Texas.

What if one of the mongers you meet is single and a bitter enemy in real life? What if you make a friend and have a falling out?  

Whatever floats your boat but meeting fellow mongers in real life has no appeal to me.

Twice I splurged and paid close to $1,000.   Once it was worth it, the other, not so much.

Since you both live in the 300-400 world and toured  the 600+ world, and both report 50% success as it were, how does the success rate stack up between the two worlds (acknowledging a sample of 2 is a poor sample).

As for your scenarios, you can always find a reason NOT to do something. But it's true that in my case I'm really not susceptible to blackmail so I can afford to be a bit cavalier.

I've had a much better success rate at the higher rates. Yes, hardly an empirical study but that's what I've found. Look at my review of Natalia--I've simply not seen anyone in that class in the 3-4 range in at least 10 years.

As a side note, I know there are plenty of players who swear by the K girl experience. I'm just not there. Most (of my small sample) I've seen lately are nothing like their pictures and that already makes me feel unhappy. If the girls had posted their real pics, I would not have seen them, even for the bargain rates. So there's that.

One chick I saw was a $400 an hour escort when I saw her. 6 months to a year later, I saw that she was a $1,000 to $1,500 an hour escort.  

If she can get booked and re-booked at that price, sure. But personally, when I saw her, I had no desire to rebook her at  current price. Still don't see what she did in that amount of time to increase her rate by that magnitude

I've seen a few and the looks are usually disappointing, but I have enjoyed the service.
