a previous thread had asked about expectations if a client treated a provider for otc meal...well, i have treated clients for meals and/or drinks before...should i have an expectation for their future business?

There are two main reasons that salespeople take clients out:

i do it because i enjoy the company...i am not particularly fond of gossip or trying to gain an advantage over anyone...everyone has their own way to conduct business

It's just a nice gesture.  

In this case I would not expect anything other than some friendly conversation and hopefully a few laughs.

i just had one of my atf's invite me to a otc day at disneyland with her and her daughter.

goes without saying.........from my own personal experience, I know you are someone very special.

This is a perfect example of so much being said about something of so little consequence.  The rules are simple:  1) I ask you out on a dinner date I pay full freight or whatever your fee is; 2) I ask you for a meal or drink after our session, no payment, no expectations.  You ask me out for dinner or an event, no fee, no expectations.

A (sadly former) Fav...  a considerable drive for me...  a couple of times she offered & I accepted lunch at her place.  It was mighty fine left overs for her fridge.  We arranged that I'd bring lunch fixings for us...  meant a stop at the store before I got on the highway.  We'd get lunch ready, have play time & then lunch before I left.  Play time was fully compensated.  There was always food left which she kept, of course.  She was very low volume & never had another appointment on the day of.  Then the train went off the rails...   Too bad...

They have the power to drive accomplishment and also to lead to disappointment.

..yeah it is that simple.

From the provider's POV it should be considered an investment in advertising. There's nothing wrong with that. A good business practice indeed. Of course it is up to you to use your judgment to target the special treatment on those who you think are exceptionally good clients and who are likely to come back.

When we share time OTC, hang, talk, music, a bite to eat, a some wine, a rub down sans sex, that's consenting adults not ready to say goodbye. Its a gift. To us. A gift we earn.

For me, no contingencies or expectations and I don't care about the reason ... business, loneliness, a spontaneous desire for company. A gift is a gift and it doesn't change p4p ... but the rules can be bent consentually.

Those that are pissing and moaning and getting all defensive, don't get it and are not happy. It is very plain to see the division in the two groups and the usual suspects who have their undies in a bunch, are crying the loudest about the ungrateful hookers etc. Not at all surprising.

i hope someday i accidentally have a session with you, h+t, you sound like someone who truly understands the nature of this endeavor, with all its limitations and boundaries on one side, and unlimited excitement for a galaxy of pleasure on the other.

it does take a while and a certain level of trust before I invite someone OTC. But you get it and I would more than likely do that.
