clarified lol...if thou has a 4wd vehicle, one must know HOW to drive it first LOL. I guess I shouldn't have assumed. Yes you are correct...these folks are by far THE worst as they 'think' they are unstoppable on any condition road, when they are the true hazards themselves lol. I prefer myself to be out and about when everyone else is inside shittin bricks staring outside. Lil ol' me and the plows I say. At least these guys know what they're doing for the most part lol and we stay out of each other's way. I hibernate when the roads have been 'cleared' and the tards venture outside in the light of day.....yikes.
Enjoy the snow.
Let it blanket you in the warmth of our care for each other.
Let it breathe into you, the cares you have forgotten.
Stay Warm. ![]()

I hope it gets worse, and soon. Real blizzards fucking rock.
up to 18" so far in Topsfield Ma as of 8pm
theres nothing *pussy ass* about that!
Pussy-assed blizzards rock eh? How about we ship our snow to you? I have muscle aches from shoveling that I never knew were even muscles, probably because I haven't been hobbying much lately and they're softening up, lol.
But there's not much happening yet in Northern Westchester. Weak.
Moved to San Diego 25 years ago. Not because of blizzards. They were kind of fun. It's the next 3 months of wet, cold and mud. The only nice thing was being able to go to Florida or the islands in a few hours.
Plus it's only 8 degrees here in CT and it's supposed to get down to -6 tomorrow night. It is pretty outside though.
giggle. Mother nature is a beautiful thing. However....... this ain't nothin'
lol
23.5 inches in Tosfield AND -18degrees BRRRRRRR!
Loan closed
roads a mess
Sandwich Ma is a total white out
Boston last night hit record number snowfalls for one day
Even more in one day than blizzard of 78 that took 3 days
totally crazy
the snowfalls are heavy but its the cold that's making it worst.
its harder to move the snow its too cold and the wind chill is ridiculous.
Nothing pussy about this storm
then again where I am we get 2" and the place shuts down...friggin hilarious. We got about 10" from last night's storm, so the place is really shut down today lol. Stay safe and warm Nicole.
Small Public Service Announcement lol...
To the tarts who 'attempt' to go out and drive in this without the proper vehicle, driving skills and/or plain fear ...just stay the f*** home please lol. This has become one of my biggest peeves living in the Northeast again. You're a danger to the rest of us who do know how to handle this weather. It's just not funny. With all the warnings and sufficient notice the weather people give these days, there's no reason to not be prepared beforehand and thensome.

The real problem around here is that people have huge SUVs that will plow through anything. The problem comes when they build up too much speed, then try to stop. If it's slippery enough, even ABS won't save their lame asses. All they are doing then is driving a two-ton hockey puck.

'yahoos' that would come out west at 7000 ft and 'attempt' to drive in the big ol' rented SUVS and make us locals absolutely NUTS. You could see an east coast driver from a mile away......no offense to east coast as I'm from here but still...it is hilarious.
I will never forget one time, these 4 guids who came off the jetway in Telluride (I can say guid (aka guido), cause I'm Italian lol) and I was like OMG...the Jersey Shore has hit the Rockies LOL...picture that one. These guys were like oh yea, we're in the mountains, here we are!!!! They stuck out like a sore thumb. It was probably one of the most memorable moments I will ever remember and I almost pee'd my pants.
I was waiting for them to bust out their 'jeans' to ski in too.
The first are the ones that are terrified of being on the road in the first place and who drive at about 10-15 MPH on the freeway, the second are the same SUV drivers that you are talking about who have no fear whatsoever and who are still propelling their two ton hockey pucks at 80 MPH. When 80 MPH meets 15 MPH in the middle of a winter storm, bad things result.
And people wonder why I spend all my time in Costa Rica![]()
Lots of nice fluffy snow this time but this cold can kill. +2 this morning.
PPLLLEEAAASSEEE !!! Is no one old enough to remember when we had snow on ground in northeast for most of the winter. I agree Taylor, 4 wheel aint shit if you have no clue how to drive, on a dry day, forget about snow. I'll take a pack horse up a mountain at 7000 feet any day on sheer cliffs before i would get in a vehicle with one of these J.O. wahoo's any day !!!
Thanks for thinking of us, but...it's just snow, and we will bounce back over the w/e. January is a winter month here, and snow comes with the territory...no big deal.
