Lately I've been noticing more and more provider websites that don't supply rate information. Is this a matter of if you have to ask, you can't afford it? Something new in regards to LE avoidance? Or just a case of mass absent mindedness? Whichever the reason, how does one go about finding out what their rates actually are when it's generally accepted that discussing money is bad form?
if I see rates listed as "contact me", I just click on through to the next one... seems an oxymoron.. contact me for my rates, but never discuss money or services....

Since I don't know which providers you are talking about, I wouldn't be able to comment, but I have seen the same thing. I believe there is a template website they use, and the default is "Contact Me". They probably just forgot to change it to actual rates.
Couple of things you can do. See if they have any other ADs on their TER profile and see if those reflect rates. Another thing you can do is shoot them an email/pm and request them to update their donations page. Alternatively, just move on...
rate of "x" on TER and ask "is this accurate?"

A lot of girls that use the "Naughty and Sexy" website template, do not have rates posted. In place of a dollar number, you see 'contact me'. Like a previous poster, I just move on if the rate is not posted elsewhere.
The only way to find out is to ask in email, text, or phone call, 'how much for an hour of your time?' I don't like doing that.

ike you, I feel uncomfortable asking the rate question. Even though this is P4P, I fell awkward asking the question and feel like it takes a lot out of the fun by making it look like a transaction.
Not all providers list rate info there, but most do. If I can't find the info on her web site, TER ad, P411 or Date-Check profile I just move on
If she had reviews you should ...! Going by ads and photos alone is stupid ...

I've considered it too and may still go that route. I think it shows truly interested gentlemen vs those who are just browsing. Sort of another 'pre-weeding' out process. Those who are interested, will go the extra mile to ask and find out what she's about. That simple really and that's who we want when it boils down to it.

Of course if it is clearly listed I don't ask. But when it's not listed, how else do you find out? When asking about rates, by email, text or phone, I always received an answer. Never got hung up on or deleted or ignored. When you hear "never discuss rates," what that really means is don't discuss rates and sex (i.e. "how much for a bbbj?"), and never discuss rates if her rates are clearly stated on their ads and website. It's not a problem to ask, "How much for an hour?" or "How much for 3 hours?" etc.

That sometimes the rates are listed with an obvious crypt.
Like:
1 hr-- $$$
2 hr-- $$$$$
And such.

one tid bit i learned at the thai- shiatsu massage intensive 12.5 hour credit weeknd course. It is LEGAL for a massage student to practice massage and encouraged before they become licensed . It is legal to inform the clientelle you are a student and not licensed. It is legal to request a suggested donation as a massage student.
To ask for a set rate for the massages as a student however is illegal.

taking a massage course so you can cover your ass and prove your in school for certification and asking for simple suggested donations,
as opposed to a straight hooker with no knowledge of legit massage claiming to do massage whom has no paperwork or proof she ever even enrolled in any classes!
and worse if some one comes for a "massage" and they cant even find the muscles along side spine and gasp! are applying pressure to the spine!
i accidentally got a massage at this jack shack on main street next door that is not thier any more.
didnt the lady apply pressure to my spine during the entire massage she ripped me offf and took 80 from me for, ! there i was in pain w fibro and i walk into tony braxton, baby wipes and some one rubbing my spine! aaaah!

never apply pressure to some ones spine, EVER.
claiming to do erotic massage and NEVER even having taken a refresher or intro course, or at best at least gotten some massages and inquire on tips.
ladies who advertise erotic massage should at best know basics . this lady not only chose to rip me off, but didnt even have the brains to look into basic massage techniques!
