First off, how does one get a job like that?! How much time is involved? What is involved?
Second, the real purpose of this post is to voice a small issue. For us guys that like a little "cyber foreplay" the assistant does provide a bit of a barrier. How do you handle this ladies?
Now, the assistants I have worked with have all been fabulous and always answer questions with aplomb. I do like working with assistants in that they help me with schedule which is not easy because of my fluid schedule.
I do like "cyber foreplay" though!
because some gals just will never get the hang of being business like and getting back to people, etc.
Then there are some gals that are so busy with other things, that it is worth the expense.
The few assistants I've dealt with have all been excellent too, so while I'd rather do some flirty banter with the gal before hand, it's a small price to pay to make sure the business end of the deal gets done well.
As for how to get the job, I know of one case that you won't believe. I won't even say on the open board who or how, but PM and I'll tell you.
Let's just say that sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.
but for some providers it's a necessity and I get it. As for the lack of "cyber foreplay" that doesn't bother me.
For this main reason, " no connection can be established". I don't like to talk with "Husbands" who are assistants.
For a regular working girl, I'll drop her as soon as her 'assistant' contacts me. I try to be business-like, polite, & brisk when setting up an appt. I rarely flirt & never flirt with someone I've never met before. But here's the thing:
1) If a provider is so high-volume that she doesn't have time to handle a simple transaction, then I don't want to see her.
2) If a provider is so empty-headed that she's can't handle a simple transaction, then I don't want to see her.
3) If she's too busy doing other things, then I don't want to see her. --z
If all guys were professional and concise with their communications like you are, there would be no need for assistants!
But here's the thing:

Yeah, man. That's kinda where I am, too. I will say, however, that there might be a use for the assistant to wade through the inbox. I suppose that some of the ladies have generated quite a bit of a cyber following and may attract a lot of communication from guys who have absolutely no interest in ever seeing them. I dunno. I'm with ya, but still scratching my head.
I'm not insensitive to the garbage that a provider has to sort through on a daily basis. I get unwanted texts & e-mails from providers sometimes, but it's nowhere near the volume that a provider has to deal with. My ATF was giving her 5 year old daughter a bath one night, when a client started sending her pornographic texts & pix. It made me angry. I told her to block his number & never see him again.
A screening service can also help, right? On P411, I can 'block' a provider's mail. And most e-mail clients like Hotmail & gmail have filters for your inbox. --z
Just who are you to be the one getting mad and telling a grown woman, not even your wife or SO, what to do, and who she should be seeing?
No wonder you have such a fan club here.I guess we can add overbearing to your list of "qualities" such as paranoia, and stupidity, and fearing black guys in stairwells.
Funny how this thread was civil & friendly till you showed up. And you're still posting about 'black guys in stairwells' that have nothing to do with this thread.
At least you were able to string a few sentences together without using the word 'tool' (Whiskey Shot! ) --z

I get enough bs emails from my own prospects, that I don't need to deal with anymore of that. It is tedious, time consuming, and will have you pulling your hair out depending on who you are screening for. The reason most ladies have assistants is so they don't have to deal with the flakes, time wasters, and nut jobs and can concentrate on the serious clients. If you have ever seen a provider's inbox, you would understand why lol. It's like Def Comedy Jam on Crack!
Ive heard of girls hiring assistants so that they DON'T have to deal with the endless, flirty banter and cyber sexers.
And even girl's PRETENDING that they are an "assistant" so that there's a bit of a professional barrier between herself and the client.
Some guys go nuts with the flirting by sending 15 page dissertations about what positions they'd like to try, their childhood growing up on a Iowa farm, their favorite childhood pet, the pros and cons of president Obama, and various other mindless chatter. Multiply that by 10 clients all doing the exact same thing, is enough to make her pull her hair out before even meeting the guy!
I have received some communications from providers that I have contacted that made me run off in the other direction. Generally speaking, they were long-winded, filled with typos, and most likely written when drunk, high, or otherwise in an altered state. It's easier for me to run away from a provider or two, though, than from the hoards.
BTW, unless it is a brilliant mathematical breakthrough, 15 pages is not a typical dissertation. Fifteen pages certainly qualifies as a diatribe.
These lengthy diatribes do wear down girls' patience. Like you, I have declined to see an otherwise "qualified" client (passed screening), because he is so long winded in his emails, that I figure he'd be too much trouble to have as a client.
Believe it or not, these chatty Cathys tend to get even worse after meeting them.
I had a guy like this who sent me literally, 50 emails to set up one meeting. Each email, he'd ask my favorite color, or my shoe size, or the last book I read, or my favorite type of music, and on and on....
We finally met. Following out meeting, he continued the same email banter about sports, music, sex positions, etc. I finally told him that if he sent me any more than 5 more emails between now and our next meeting, I would not see him again.
He never emailed again.
As some of you know, i tried it and it is time consuming.
Contrary to what u may have heard, i got positive feed-back from the guys.
They had waited forever to see this lady, ( she couldn't keep up with requests for appointments ).
And YES, it can be done discretely and professionally by a fellow hobbyist. ( i knew how very important, privacy and discretion were to the gentleman ) and i honored that.
( ok, flame away )
"Flakes, time wasters, and nut jobs?" Are you talking about your TER pals again?
...I don't mind going through an assistant to book etc. Whatever works for the provider is good with me. I do want to know that it is an assistant I'm working with. I don't want to think I'm actually communicating with the provider and find later that it was her assistant. So far, so good on that one.
How do you get that job? The ones I know of are often providers or former providers that became assistants for their friends.
There was a similar thread about provider 'assistants' on the board a few weeks ago. Think of the sex trade as a 'black market' because that's exactly what it is, just like the drug trade. When a provider brings in a third party, whether it's a 'driver' or 'assistant' or a 'friend'--that's always a deal breaker for me.
The assistant/driver/friend may be a very nice person (who knows?), but we all operate with a personal set of rules. When a third party is added into an illegal transaction, your risk & exposure has just bumped up a notch in a high risk game. --z
You're meeting a stranger and you're carrying a large sum of money. Let's pretend we're in the drug trade instead of the sex trade, yeah? You have a briefcase packed with cocaine. I have a briefcase filled with cash.
Now your third party contacts me: "Hi, I'm xyz23's cousin ABC. I'm going to tell you when & where we'll do the exchange."
It doesn't matter now if I have a fake name or a hobby phone or a rabbit's foot. One of two things is going to happen now:
1) I drop you like a hot rock.
2) I'm bringing my cousin Vinnie, and he's going to be packing. --z
No wonder you see black muggers in every stairwell.
I guess it's a good thing that you choose option one, I can't imagine a better way to get on every lady's DNS list than to bring a friend who is "packing"
You either have a very vivid imagination, or you are a total tool. Please post a really stupid response so I can make up my mind for sure. lmao
So many posts on these boards about people worried about being stopped by police etc, with "large sums of money." on them. LOL. I just don't see 300-1000 bucks as a "large sum" of money!
And thanks for bringing up that old thread. I'm glad you're still banging on that 'racist' drum, even on a thread that has absolutely nothing to do with race. It makes you sound like a 'tool'. --z

I just wanted final proof that you were simply a tool, and right on cue you provided it.
In case you didn't notice, my only comment on that thread was to mention that last I heard David Chapelle was off stoned out of his gourd in African and that I wished him the best.
I don't really care if you are a racist or not, I really don' plan on getting to know you that well, but it is plain as day that you are a total tool.

Yes, I concur that cyber-foreplay is very stimulating. I try to be respectful of the lady's time and refrain from voluminous messaging. Rather I try exchanging just enough to raise the level of anticipation a couple of notches.
I have found the assistants I have dealt with to be very professional. If I refused to see providers who used assistants, I would have missed out on some remarkable ladies.
Up front, I do want to know that it is indeed an assistant with whom I am speaking. There was just once I did not know for awhile that I was writing to the assistant and thought it was the provider instead.
I have had one assistant recently ask me if I knew of any providers looking for an assistant. If you are interested, you can PM me.
And most people learn to play well with others in kindergarten. Then there are others like you, who sound as though they prefer to play with themselves. To each, his / her own. Oh, well ....
I have "touring assistant", i.e. I handle all my communication, screening, scheduling for dates when I am NOT touring.
When I do, she is taking care of all that for any inquiry related to specific tour.
I find that having someone help with administrative end of the tour is tremendous help and allows me to dedicate 100 percent of my attention to my gentlemen callers.

Another thing that hasn't been mentioned yet is that assistants (or agencies), as well as drivers, provide another level of security for the provider. It's a form of deterrent in that there's someone else who knows where the provider is, and who she's with, in case anything happens.
After reluctantly coming to the point of giving one provider's assistant the kind of personal information I don't like to give because I really wanted to see the provider, I finally got lucky and she said I was approved for a meeting tomorrow.
She also gave me an email address where I could do the "cyber foreplay" thing and I was well into writing my introduction when I got another email from the assistant telling me I had to go to a website and fill out another form asking for even more information.
Obviously I wasn't as approved as I thought I was.
I politely told her to forget it and please destroy the personal information I had already given her.
