Knowing you are doing it and PROVING you are doing it are two vastly different things. LE spends the vast majority of their vice budget on busting streetwalkers and on "johns" who are dumb enough to get caught up in that part of the sex business.  They spend almost zero time and energy worrying about discreet providers and discreet clients.

All any LE agency needs to do, is, create a Date-Check account or an account with any of the other verifying sites and find out you're a hobbyist.

I suggest you put more tinfoil in your hat and disconnect your computer from the Internet. Oh, and give up hobbying. Boom, you are safe!

In all seriousness, unless you are Eliot Spitzer, or you are actually in the business, or you get caught in a sting, law enforcement couldn't fucking care less about you. You are one of a thousand guppies- committing a crime that's not a high-profile felony. They are hunting whales- they want things like money laundering and human trafficking, not some dude they get to send to John Class and charge a $500 fine. The way they will run across you is by stinging you, which they do periodically to remind us all This Is Against The Law.

That is the point. LE is far too short of resources to do all the research necessary to build a case against some guy who hired and escort. Even doing stings of hobbyists is very low priority to them, at least in Las Vegas.

if one were doing something illegal and discussing it on this lovely Internet, it is very unlikely you have done a good enough job hiding your tracks so that a smart person could not make a case if they wanted to. As noted elsewhere, it just is not worth the energy and resources to build that case. You are not worth it, nor am I.

Too many of us, we cross too many jurisdictions, and it would cost too much time and money to get each of us. So unless you become part of a big bust, do something really nasty (drugs, minors, violence, probably), get too high profile, or happen to get unlucky when some LE unit is trying to build up numbers for their own purposes, you will be okay.

Repeat after me, "I am a meaningless speck of shit, and remaining just that will keep me safe even though I have left tracks all over the place." If you did do something LE cared about, which none of us sick little fantasists actually do. My daddy told me there are people who do things and people who talk about doing things, and they are rarely one and the same. Lucky for us.

the big thing in Vegas, and I bet it goes wide shortly, is that LE has gotten tired of busting pimps only to see them back on the street after posting bail. Some have been arrested a dozen times and they still get off.

So, LE here is teaming up with the IRS, and they are seizing all of the cars, homes, boats, toys and everything else for failure to pay income tax on their earnings.

So if you are a successful lady in this hobby, if you have it, don't flaunt it! If you get busted and haven't paid your debt to the Fed, you might lose it all.

LE has busted ladies before, and they agree to cooperate in exchange for leniency. They then take over her phone number and all her accounts, including date-check. Wait for johns to call, and bust the johns when they arrive.

From everyting Ive read about the Miami Companiosn case and others before, the issue of taxes avoidance is the focus of the ivestigation. Its a big deal when there is evidence of hundreds of transactins accross the country and taxes arnt being declared. The prostitution charge is just a  means to an end.

Realisticly, cases against agencies duckng taxes is just so much more attractive a target then chasing around a bunch of men and women cleverly trying to entice them into commiting a misdomeanor.

On a personal level, I dont know the business management and tax accounting policies of any agency and I doubt anyone on this board not affiliated with an agency does either. So as for me I try to keep this in mind and act accordingly. Now Im not a lawyer and I dont do taxes. Im just pointing out some stuff which I hope is helpful to people.
