ok, to my understanding, some men look for Intellectual stimulation, while others may look for a great adventure with a Hot lady.

My question is this---
What do you men really appreciate and why?

I say this because---Lately, I have noticed that I Enjoy Men that are worldy, well travelled and have brains and know how to use them.

Refined, intellectual companions are definitely a part of my agenda.

I guess its a matter of taste, I do enjoy an intellectual lady sometimes and other times I like a little slutty or maybe somewhat dumb kind of girl. To me this is the beauty of being a hobbyist, I can see all kinds, to me personally I do prefer the intellectual ones and since I have traveled to many places I get to share my experiences with them and at the same time get to know of places I haven't visited that she shares with me. Too bad you are so far away from me, you sound interesting to me. If I'm ever in your city I will look you up.

If I'm with a lady in public, I like the intellectual stimulation. There's a good rule for sleep hygiene; you should only use your bed for sleep and sex. The same feels right regarding sex. While in the bedroom, sex and rest are more of what I'm interested in, not intellectually stimulating conversation.

Intellectual is not equal to passionate. I know many intellectuals that come off as cold cold fish. Some are aloof "I'm smarter than you".  

A Hot pretty lady who says nothing and just lie down comes of as non-motivated and mechanical. "Get it over with".

What I like the most is a very sensual and passionate lady. Once who tickles and entices my senses to beg for her. It's the way she holds me, strokes the fire, and how she moans and reacts to my advances.

Faking 'passionate and sensual' can be awkward. Therefore, the lady must be genuine. In short, you must enjoy being a courtesan.  

Also, well-traveled, educated, a lover of fine food and wine, able to converse about current events, at least competent with business, finance, and power tools, independent (i.e. doesn't *need* a man for much besides sex), appreciative, and truly passionate about whatever interests her. I could go on.

I agree. Intellectual companions are much better. It improves the sex and stimulates all senses.

Performance in bed of course. Several posters above have brought up performance. Maybe you left it out on purpose as either a given or for some other reason, but that 3rd leg is equally if not more important, depending on my mood. I rarely book extended sessions so the while intellectual side of things has it's value I typically rank it in third place. I have minimum individual standards for all three and the sum of all three must also be satisfactory.

If we are talking strictly bedroom, I vote for the latter. Heck, I get mental stimulation most everyday from the work I do. In fact, my assistance has pretty face, but the personality of a pitbull. She is efficient and she takes no shit. I am happy she's on my team.

A blend of many ingredients, some appealing to more overt tastes, and others more subtle.

There are so many variations that it is hard to know what mixtures will be a sucess, and which will fail.

I'm picky.

In fact I am sooooo picky that just being gorgeous isn't going to work. If I get the sense that there is "no one home" or that the resident occupant is not someone I'd like to meet, it is an impossible turn off. The meeting will fail and repetition will be out of the question.

The ability to interact in something other than a monosyllabic nature.

Physical beauty will usually attract a man first. Beyond that the personality is tops for me.

whether they have a Jerry Springer type background or a Ph.D., as long as they have a good attitude. I am much more picky on looks. I'm only doing this for physical reasons, so for me physical attraction is tops. Intellectual stimulation is a bonus, and is very welcome but not essential.

...sincerity is my key.  After 10+ years in this hobby, I've developed a pretty finely tuned BS detector.  A woman who fibs to me or withholds info in order to try to get me to come back doesn't get past a return visit from me.  Honest feedback wins, even if it isn't exactly what I wanted to hear.

A babe that is a dumb bunny will likely not see me again (unless her performance was off the charts).

I don't need a rocket scientist, but I find common sense and an open world view to be very attractive.

the providers I've seen seem to be considerably more intelligent, mature, and interesting than the typical civvie women I have interacted with.  I found this in them even though I didn't specifically seek out these qualities in them - I mainly wanted hot sex.

Even though they may not be "book smart" they are definitely "bright".

I suppose if you want to be a well reviewed provider, you have to think for yourself.  You probably aren't a drone in the borg.   You know you aren't part of the masses that "lead lives of quiet desperation".

I can tell you this much:  The provider I see has a very pretty face, but body, not so much.  She's a mommy, has put on considerable weight, and childbirth has taken its toll on her body.  For what I spend with her, I could easily see some of the younger and / or hottest providers in the city.  I mean real stunners.  I keep coming back to her, time after time, and have not "wandered" because of her personality.  I've had sex with beautiful civie and provider women before.  More often than not, it's often times  been a "what the hell do I have to do to get her to shut up and just spread 'em" type of thing.  Beauty and brains (or personality) don't often go together.  Not sure if this helps (and hope it doesn't sound crude) but on a "1-10", I'd give my ATF a solid 7 to 8 face, 4 bod, and a 10 for personality.  It's the 10 part of that list that keeps me coming back.  Were she a 10 face, 8 bod, and 4 personality....she'd be a "one and done" for me.  

For an hour or so, maybe the "babe" gets the nod.  For anything more than that, give me someone I can "connect" and carry on a fun conversation with, and has at least some interest in someone other than herself.

is what it is all about for me. I want to spend time with a  provider who has the the ability to connect and make me, the hobbyist feel that, I am valued and desired. How she does that is purely a function of personality and style -could be that she is intellectually stimulating, or warmly, genuinely passionate or by just being fun to be with.
