Would it be wise to discuss advice on life to a provider?

Being an extremely young hobbyist, there is a lot I want to learn about life but always been silver spoon fed in my life, I live a pretty sheltered life, would it be acceptable to ask providers about life experience like how I should dress or what it takes to become a true man? I figure they would have more true life experience than other people in this world.

Nah, I know this is bullshit. Just thought the post would look good! ;)

Of course you can spend your money for her time, and ask her all kinds of questions about dress, etiquette, proper decorum, and lovemaking. As a human being, providers are not neccessarily any better equipped to answer these questions than any other lady (except maybe the lovemaking part). Her answers will be colored by her preferences, her background, and her estimation of what you want to hear.

I think you would do better to find a gentleman that you admire to mentor you. Of course, you can't go right up and say "hey guy, I like you, will you be my mentor?", as that comes across as kinda gay. But you CAN watch, emulate, ask questions...

Dressed in 1970's bell bottoms and 4" heels.
The other half would have you dressed for the hood and talking weird.

If you have not figured out how to be a true man by now, you will need much more then hooker logic.

a frilly white dress, with pink fuzzy slippers, or a girl scout uniform like the rest of the manginas wear!!!

Since he engineered this trainwreck-----LOL !

If you believe his post is legit.,I've got some Fla. swampland I'd like to sell ya.

For me...I don't mind questions like that.  If I have an answer to your question,  I wouldn't mind sharing it with you.  Be yourself, that is the main thing.  Just be yourself and everything will flow nicely...

Maybe I'm just too easy going!  Life is short..go for all the gusto you can!

You'll do just fine!

I discuss health, money, relationship, business issues, and philosophic questions with them.

They are people not fuckbots.

On occasion they offer advice that I find useful. I lament the loss of one provider friend who could sweetly and gently point out mistakes of mine.

It works both ways.

I just threw up in my mouth a little.

Just keep using them to lower your blood pressure.
Now how about fulfilling that promise to post less due to your condition? It could be a win-win all the way around!

None of us is use-less to another. Users and predators intend to take more than they give.

I try to be fair.

Today I spent a number of hours evaluating research on a problem a provider friend posed for me, so my conscience is clear. I give beyond the envelope and whoso says differently is either ignorant or false.

As for posting, it helps to keep the BP down.

If you are a client, what do you use providers for?

If you are a provider, what do you use clients for?

If you are someone else, someone I thought of as a friend or more, why do you persist in stupidly misunderstanding? I thought you more intelligent and perceptive and worthy of trust....

While we are ALL obligated to form OUR OWN judgments where our own interests are at stake; there is absolutely nothing wrong with discussing life-issues with someone else.

Often, women see the world from a different perspective that allows them to offer valuable insight. In my own non-hobby projects; I always include a couple of women as advisors in order to make sure my vision has minimal blind-spots.

So discussing such things with a woman can be wise. ESPECIALLY, I have found, where those issues might involve women.

I have found many providers to be very wise and worldly people with worthwhile perspectives. Therefore, the fact that the woman's occupation is sex-work does not in any way disqualify her from such a role.

Would I discuss something important with just ANY provider? No. No more than I would have just ANY mechanic fix my brakes.

But I think most people have enough internal judgment to know the difference.

It is ironic and a bit of synchronicity that today I am giving back to a provider friend some advice. She has advised me well on matters of her competence in the past.

All that is required is mutual respect, mutual good will, intelligence and information on both sides for this to work.

The profession is then hardly relevant at all.

Absolutely!!

Discuss your life and philosphy with a hooker.

The bullshit detector is going crazy on this one!
But I've not had a laugh this good in a long time.

It is my belief that a young man needs an older man; preferably a good father, as a mentor.

While I believe providers can render sound advice on many subjects; I believe they -- being women -- can only offer half of a perspective, with the other half needing to be filled by a man.

Fortunately we have a glut of them here.

Read, listen and pay attention.

might be the best source of info, assuming he has a target audience in mind.

Advice is best tested against one's own experience and against it's inner logic. While balancing sources can be useful, discounting a source because of the source is fallacious. The ad hominem argument, while a popular one on TER and in politics, is fallacious. Only the foolish and ignorant are taken in by it.

The advice you gave to the OP is sound. I'm just adding a precisionist caveat against the detestably fallacious argument ad hominem.

TEX!!!???

He sees all.........

Knows all...........

And fools a few.....

And NO Tex, I'm not following you around!  It just seems like every time I find an interesting thread, you already have 6-10 replies on it filled with you usual methane enriched pontifications!

I see what I see, not all.
I know what I know, not all.
And I don't fool myself, I know that I make mistakes.

However I have you completely fooled, without even intending to try. ;-)

Usually people fool themselves. The usual method is to not know themselves but not being able to distinguish a good from a bad argument is a close second.

Your posts suggest you've got both problems to deal with. Perhaps your logic is too too "fuzzy" to be reliable? I don't know, not my problem.

Good luck with that. ;-)

Look Newbieone, if you do not know already this board is full of Mangina's who will be more than happy to respond to your silly posts trying to get a train wreck going.

But then again, stupid posts like this does get some action. lmfao
