Yes, every girl wants to be known as a 'GFE' these days... and there are quite a few reviewers ready to accomodate them by throwing the label around from anything that substantiates a smile from a provider to "she offered me fresh soap in her shower". I see more and more reviews labeling a girl a "GFE" without anything closely resembling the experience in their reviews. Let me tell you my interpretation of a 'GFE'.

Years ago I had a girlfriend of sorts. We weren't exclusive however we dated consistently for 11 months. At the time we were both committment phobic, we liked our privacy. In those 11 months we rarely saw each other during the week... we never even met each other's families. On the weekends it was dinner, a movie and f**king in the sack. The next morning we either had sex or I was out the door by 10 am... no complaints. We were busy people with little in common, except some incredible body heat.

For years I 've thought she would have made the most incredible provider. She was intelligent (a Master's Degree), incredibly sexy, She liked to give and recieve. She made me a better lover.  I've met providers that have given me a similar experience. You meet them and they're, friendly open and accomodating. No mention of money, roses... trust is there through the whole session.  Time is taken to chat and catch up or get to know each other. There is no clock watching. They take the lead, but also enjoy the experience. DFK, orgasmic, laughter, passion, and maybe a little bond. After the last pop there is a few blissful minutes of relaxation and snuggling. The only difference in the experience is the 'gifts' exchanged for each others company.

Lately I've seen reviews like this:

That sounds more like some chick I banged in college and didn't want to recognize the next day in Calculus. I guess everyone has their own interpretation of what consists of a GFE... I just tend to see some pretty weak reviews, touting "GFE" experience.

Basically, it's in the eye of the beholder. Some guys might have more or less experience than you or I, therefore, who are we to judge what they interpret as 'GFE'? And them, us.

Open to interpretation but the last thing you should be doing is comparing a real-world gf to any escort.  Regardless of how you feel about it the term is intended as short hand for a group of available sex acts, not the IQ or personality of a provider.

Briefly:  As with most things in the hobbby GFE is in the eye of the beholder.  My definition is much like yours. I want the woman to be friendly, accomodating, engaging, intelligent, articulate, exceptional at DFK; and without belaboring the point here, just seem like she is really into me. I want her to be enthusiastic about the whole experience with the envelope being treated as an afterthought. I research thoroughly before I see someone. Fortunately, therefore, most of my experiences have been like that.

That's what I love about the TER review system.  No "GFE" field - just a list of services and a narrative from which you can draw your own conclusions regarding personality. Allows the hobbyist to match his own individual definition of GFE without worrying about what the ad says.
