....way of writing reviews.  While a few seemingly go on forever, many others are far too brief & contain little else than what is on the profile.  Those read more like the info on the menu of a fast-food joint.

Personally I want to see enough written so that I can get an idea whether or not the guy looks for the same sort of thing in a session as I do...we don't all have identical tastes.

Other than my own dislike for reviews that seemingly are of the writer & not the provider, the only thing I think is really important is that the reviews be legitimate.

Is it just me, but do some reviewer seem to go on and on in their review. I know it's great to tell everyone of a wonderful session, but do we need to know every detail, can we just get to the point so we, the reader can make an informed choise. They lose me after the first ten lines, I end up scanning for the high lights. Not everyone has to be Tolstoy.  Less is more.

My POV is somewhat different. The reviews tend to be carbon copies: "CBJ to DATY, cowgirl, doggie then MISH - pop!"

I appreciate a little narrative that gives me more of a sense of the personality of the provider and also lets me know some about the expectations and perspective of the reviewer. These kinds of details hold the greatest amount of information for me, allowing me to judge whether or not I might hit it off with the lady and how much I should rely on the reviews perception of the events. Everybody enjoys the Your Mileage May Vary (YMMV) experience and these details help me find that.

I like some entertainment and creativity when reading a review (although over the top can be annoying). So scan away :)!

I echo Riker's sentiments.

If you want a quick snap shot of the services a provider provides, her profile page should suffice.

However, the details provided in the reviews:

1/  Helps me set realistic expectations (what to expect vs. what not to expect).   It also helps in reducing the mystery behind YMMV.

2/  Provides me with a glimpse of the provider personality.  There are subtle things that a provider does that helps differentiate her from the rest.  What makes the provider in question so special?

3/  Alleviates any concerns I may have regarding the environment.   Detail reviews provide some inkling about the environment - whether it is a hotel, apartment, or house.  What type of neighborhood is it in?  Is it safe?  Is it clean?  etc.

4/  Some reviews also provide suggestions. How to set the right mood/tone with the provider?  What turns her on/off? Etc.

5/   Last but not the least, a detail review helps validate some the providers’ profile, and services.  For instance, Are the pictures accurate?  Has the provider changed her service offerings , etc?   TER does an outstanding job of being as current as they can.  However, it is darn near impossible to keep on top off everything.

Don't you just love these...

"We started with a few minutes of ...
Then we switched to ...
Then she wanted to ...
We took a break and talked/cuddled/rested for awhile. (circle one)
Since we had a little time left, I wanted to ... again,
but I just couldn't :(   "

I feel like the guy went in with a checklist! ;)
