Didn't go to a brothel per se, but went to Amsterdam a few years ago.  Just walk around one of the red light districts there where women display themselves in the windows until you see a gal that looks good, and then knock on her door.  When you go in, they just close the curtain or whatever so that people on the street can't see in anymore.  Definitely more convenient and reliable than setting up an appointment over the phone with a gal who you can't see in person first.  They speak English over there, and the price was right too.  If you don't know where you are supposed to go, just go to a coffee shop or something and ask somebody, people are friendly over there, they will tell you where you are supposed to go.
