i love the flow of estrogen to the boards recently..a lot of the men do not participate in the discussions any more for fear of being called WK's or manginas by the alias board cops who troll the boards looking for any man who would even dare agree with one of our ladies..yea..its fucked up..

I'm obviously in England, which means I am 5 hours in front of the east coast, and 8 hours in front of the west coast, and my favourite city. Las Vegas.

The trolls and board cops dont bother me in the slightest.

Its the same whatever boards you frequent, all over the Internet.

Some people just like to pick fault, and get their kicks by being mean.

For every arsehole on here and other boards, there are hundreds of decent people only to willing to help if they can.

Guess what?  Terms like "bollocks," "wanker," and "arsehole" —for all that they may have shock value in the British Isles— only sound comical to the American ear.

Most of the posters and readers on this forum are American.  If you're trying to express anger or hostility here, you might want to bone up on American usage.  Otherwise, you risk sounding like an outtake from some old Monty Python bit.

They just are not as fun or useful as they used to be. Guys who new something have been driven away and replaced by the clueless. I used to log on every day and read most every post. Not anymore because it just isn't fun.

There is certainly a transition going on.  A lot of long time handles are either gone for real or at least disguised.  Probably some of both.  Some taking a few gratuitous sniper shots, probably more waiting to see what it becoms.

It's nice to see the ladies returning.  I don't exactly participate in this corner of the world because I'm looking to meet the guys.

After transition it will be different; what that will be is yet to be seen.  Hopefully it will be a more diverse board than it had been.

Let's replace experienced knowledgeable guys with incompetent and self-serving hookers babbling nonsense to the more naive johns.

And that's how many many others actually see this.

On any discussion board there are a myriad of people.  TER put the "ignore" option out there...and if YOU and others like you didn't want to see or read something...now you had a way to "ignore" that.

So now the threads that are allowed to stand are so tame (should read boring)...except when TER wants some drama and allows a hooker to post an insanely idiotic topic.  And then the other hookers attack her.  I thought that was supposed to be a PO board activity?

But at least that has been mildly entertaining.  Especially when a hooker is cute.

but there are different ideas about what "fun" is.

I still think there should be two "general" boards, one for semi-serious and serious info/topics, and one for the locker room/comedy club topics.  Neither is wrong, but too often some folks have a hard time understanding when to be serious and when to cut loose.  Some seem unable to let a serious thread stay serious, and I think separating the two into two boards would keep both happy.  Folks would freely step across from one to the other if they wished, but they would know what the ground rules are in each case.

Oh...I think they have some training to do before they catch up with you guys.

Having providers here is cool, but, the board has become VERY boring.
The ladies have nothing to do with that, it's all the guys i've gotten to know, are leaving.
Not sure why they are leaving and if they are just doing the alias thing, i wish they would just reappear with their real handles.
I know a few have been banned and i think that's bogus.
Come on TER, let us have some fun. The place was doing just fine in the past.

You are clearly among a group of fewer than 300 people in the whole damn country who could say that.  

I won't argue whether you found it entertaining, but I'm surprised you found it useful.  I first checked in here over 5 years ago, and immediately found my regional board useful, but the general board was useless.  Since then I've checked the general board once or twice a year and found nothing to return for.  

Furthermore the incessant name-calling and insults were not creative enough to be entertaining.

I made one post on the general board in the first 5 years.  Then on 8-19-12 when a bunch of roving trolls over-ran my regional board I noticed they were using the R.O. board and the General board to whip themselves into a frenzy.  Since then I have posted here a total of 15 times.  A heavy hitter posts here 15 times a day.

I am usually MIA over the weekends, since it is my time off, and I do "me" and "kid time" on weekends... Mondays is me playing "catch up"
