I wanted to leave you some feedback on my first visit

Who knew any place on earth could be better than Las Vegas, maybe I need to travel more lol... wish I could've stayed longer, but the Costa Rica trip tromped Vegas and I've been there several times! If I'm financially able I plan to visit once a year. I recommend vacationing more than once a year if you're able to.

First off the del rey felt more like a brothel than a hotel... If you like gambling and woman like me, you'll love it. Providers will approach you, unlike hobbying in the states...  you have to register the girl and pay 10$.. A plethora of working gals flock at the Blue Marlin bar.

The majority of gals are jaw dropping, varying from 7s to 10s, with only a few I thought were unattractive, I've banged worse, there are so many woman you'll have to turn down pussy. I actually had to turn down a few girls. If you don't speak fluent spanish, learn some basic Spanish... it will go a long way. I was somewhat disappointed with the room as I was expecting a Vegas style type room.. living room area and all that good stuff... I may try the morazan next time... there's also a casino if you like the slots, I prefer roulette.. if anyone knows a system to beat the wheel.. I'm all ears lol

Rates, services and appearance everything's negotiable although most gals, I could not get them to budge on 50k colones. If there's less competition, you'll most likely be able to haggle a lower rate, but I did not fly to another Country to haggle or bang ugly broads... be persistent on what services you want before you give them your cash especially if your prefer bbj to cbj.  Once you see how beautiful some of the woman are you won't worry about haggling too much. I'm the type of lazy guy that prefers just reading reviews to ensure a perfect session, with that said... like all providers some provide better services than others.. the same applies with gals in CR..  

Hr sessions are available, however I would recommend extended sessions, a little pricier but more enjoyable, the hr sessions feel more rushed and businesslike... If you click with one spoil her, you'll make a friend and have a nice companion on your next visit... heck she might not allow you bang any other broads depending on how good you treat her. If you love exotic latin women, you want to experience this before you croak. On the downside I wasted over an hr at the bar trying to score with one of the bartenders... so don't waste your time! My last night was spent mostly with one gal.. somewhat pricey, but worth every dime.

The key largo club/bar next to the DR, if you like the club atmosphere, live music and dancing you will love this place, although not my taste in music, but it will grow on you. The woman are dressed sexy as hell, dressed in the sexiest tightest outfits imaginable, It reminded me of South Beach in Miami! In my opinion, providers in the states are better in bed, but the Latin chica's hold the advantage in appearance!!

I heard about rapid crime in Costa Rica, I think it's just a myth the gringos and locals were all friendly, I was not kidnapped, shot or robbed during my stay... a few beggars outside the del rey that's about it... however a guy that works at my sports-book, he lives in Costa Rica, advised me before my trip not to hangout by myself at night and not to bring woman, you can interrupt that however you choose to. Have patience, be respectful and you shouldn't have a problem

Some other tidbits counting Colones you basically double the amount, for example 5,000 would equal 10 us dollars. You can exchange your US dollars into colones at the airport.. and your cell phone will be fucked... my cell would not work until I got back to the states and there's also an exit fee to leave the country. Unlike myself the traveler I was with has traveled the world and was prepared.

Last bit of feedback... If you're someone who wants to save money, I would recommend taking the city bus downtown, you'll save $35.00 on taxi fare, the traveler i was with,  insisted on taking a taxi. If money is not an issue then take the taxi downtown if you can afford it. Oh and take care of that fucking passport book don't lose or allow any damage to it. After finally visiting CR, Colombia and Peru are next on my wish list.

I have been to CR about 4 times since 2005. I visited the usual gringo areas such as Hotel Del Ray, the usual massage joints and the Beatle Bar in Jacob right on the Pacific.

My view is the polar opposite.  

Where did you visit in Thailand and the Philippines?

I can view any attractive woman as a sex object. I just happen to prefer darker skinned women such as latinas and asian women versus a blond woman any day. It's opposites attract since I am blond and blue-eyed I guess.

But I'll be meeting someone there who's very experienced.  You impressions are helpful, and I'm looking forward to making my own.  Staying at the Del for a few days, then 5 more in Jaco.  As for Utroll's comments, I'd love to go to SE Asia but CR is one fuck of a lot closer, not to mention cheaper to get to.  I'll bet the difference in air fare eats into the savings on what you'll pay for a session.  My round-trip flight to San Jose will be less than $700.

Try spirit airlines, you should find something more reasonable than $700... that's if you don't mind layovers.

I've never been to Thailand or the Philippines so I can't compare them to CR. If the quality of woman of woman are better, that's a discussion I'm willing to have, but to fly 18 hrs to save $75 doesn't make any sense to me.

My last roundtrip to Bangkok was $1000 roundtrip from Chicago. However, it's 16 hours Chicago to Hong Kong and then 3 hours to Bangkok. There is more time required to get to Thailand.

If you think this adventure in Costa Rica was exciting than maybe the Asia is a little too much for you right now .

The trolls like Udon't are actually correct on this, but as you said, Asia is a long fucking ways to travel. especially for a short trip. I've been to CR five times in the last two months, and I am on a plane at this very moment coming back from Panama.

A couple of things about your OP I really should correct. The crime in Costa Rica is real, don't fool yourself, and whatever you do, don't walk through the park behind the Del Rey, Key Largo, Morazon area alone at night, It's full on Tranny's and they are aggressive, not to mention dangerous. If you are going to walk the streets of San Jose, or even Jaco for the matter, either do it with  a couple of other guys, or just take a cab. The risk is not worth it.

I also have to disagree about the quality of the women at the Del Rey, I have been there literally hundreds of times over about a dozen years, your standards are obviously lower than mine. I haven't seen a ten there in years, but my definition of a ten is much different than a TER ten, which is usually a seven or eight on my scale. Yes, the Colombianas are the hottest, but there aren't anywhere near as many of them as there once was, the scene is now dominated by the Ticas, Nicas, and Dominicanas, some of them are quite beautiful, but IMO no one in this hemisphere at least can compare with the Paisas from Colombia, with the Venezuelans running a close second.

Again, I hate to agree with a troll like Udo, but just because he is a troll, and a disgusting one at that, doesn't mean that every word he writes here is incorrect

Colombia is great, it's also a much bigger country, you might make plans to see it a little bit at a time. Maybe the beach resorts like Cartagena or Santa Marta in the winter, and wait to see Bogota, which can get rather nippy as an escape from the hot, humid Georgia summer.
