I'd agree that the provider is probably doing herself and the client a service by cancelling, and thereby avoiding a possbile bad review.

This might work well for locals, but the traveling person might not have that "next day".

Still... it is better to have dropped the call than to be reviewed behind the 8 ball.

And it is nice to think that some folks don't put the $$$$$$ ahead of everything else.

We've all seen providers who have a long list of great reviews with one or two poor reviews mixed in. Wlll that got me thinking about tow questions.

First being human I'm sure there are days a provider is not having things go well on a certain day. How do you keep in the right attitude for appointments?

And another question kinda related..

How does the particular client affect your performance (for lack of a better word) durtig the appointment?

Speaking only for myself, I can say that every once in a blue moon I meet a clint that for whatever reason we just can not click. Of course I stay professional and do my best to make the session pleasing. sometimes we just can't get a spark going.
As for your other question, how to maintain a good attitude.  Speaking again only for myself, I have learned to compartlementlise ( i really screwed that spelling up).  If I can't keep my attitude, mood in check when with a client then I'm in the wrong business and need to work at the DMV with all the other attitude problem children.

I know canceling is bad, but sometimes if I have a particularly down or bad day, I do cancel. I would rather disappoint a little that day and make up for it with a fantastic session the next day when I'm really into things than show up but not be able to give 100%.

So sorta the flip side to that question: Would you rather a lady cancel on you on one of her bad days or would you rather see her anyway? Have you ever considered this could be the case when a woman's canceled?

I think as Hobbyist, we should be somewhat aware. I went to see a provider one day and I could tell she was very tired. I asked what was going on and she told me she had spent the last couple of days moving.

I still wanted to have fun so I told her to lay down on the bed and then I spent the first third of the session giving her a rubdown top to bottom.

Both our spirits were raised. By the time I finished she was much more relaxed and the rest of the session went well ... great!
