Which do you prefer? I like email for the initial contact. I am very into reading a lot about into how a man writes to me. It tells me so much.

I do like to follow up with a call to put a voice to the name....

But for me, with the smart phone, I can answer a email anytime... even if I am not by my computer... while a hone call can not be taken in times when I have certain company

what about you all???

Esp if it's a provider I have not met yet.  Phone call later is ok.

I find email only is a lot more convenient for me as sometimes I am not able to answer the phone.
Also when a gent sends me references and info I find email is better for me.
I do like to have a short phone conversation before meeting new friends.

90% of contact is by email, 9% by text and the other 1% are guys that don't email or text.  Unfortunately for them, I am almost never reachable with a phone call...it's just too intrusive, and my phone has no voicemail, so they end up calling 50 times before I might answer...bummer for them.

With a smart phone...wow we are so fortunate to have such high tech!!

I do enjoy a telephone conversation before meeting but it does not always happen...it is not mandatory. My phone number when given ....is to be used on the day of our meeting, a two call system.
When a gentleman provides me with his phone number I consider his privacy and do not call unless I am asked.

Like you mention sometimes we cant answer the phone but with a email I get it instant like a text. It is much easier for me reply at the moment, no matter where I am. If the gentlemen requests a personal call to follow than the appropriate time for both of us can be arranged by email :)

I prefer to be called first, then any visits after I prefer to be booked online. Since my online schedule can be accessed 24/7 a guy can look and see what is available & schedule his next visit without having to wait for a callback ;)

Advantage of email is if you don’t get the person you didn’t wast your time leaving message and waiting. With email, it is waiting for the reply. If you don’t get a reply within a reasonable time, move on.

I prefer e-mail because I don't even disclose my number anymore before screening, but I do prefer a brief chat once screening's out of the way and the appointment is being set up. I think most guys are a bit nervous the first time they call a lady to talk to her about her services.. or just to introduce himself.. So e-mail, or private message, would be, in my opinion, the best (and fastest) way to break the ice. I'm like the OP, I've always got my smartphone nearby and always ready to answer an e-mail LOL.

I may not be available to talk at that time.

However, I must be able to speak with her BEFORE the session begins if it's the first time.  Or otherwise, it's a dealbreaker.  I don't see girls who I have never been able to speak with on the phone, as I have zero idea who I am talking to via email or text.

I'm email only at first. Once someone is screened and a date is confirmed I'll give my hobby number. Trouble is that I only have the phone on for the last hour or two before our confirmed time together. The phone is never on me, let alone even powered on, for more than 5-10 hours a week. When I give the phone number I clearly explain this and say it's for last minute things in case the guy doesn't have access to his hobby email on his own cell.

I have no problem having a scheduled phone call once the gentleman is screened and booked.

Kiss me,

Kate
