ED meds and insurance

My insurance changed. I used to get 9 Cialis 20mg tabs for a $60 copay. I would break them in half. * The new insurance considers it a Tier 3 and only allows 4 20mg for $110 copay. Cialis is $50 a pill? I told my Dr to punch the rep. They don't give samples anymore either.
My doc tried to change it to BPH so I could get 30 5mg, but it requires pre-authorization.
I don't want to use a non-us knockoff.
I called the insurance RX company. They suggested injections or some patch.
I have read the other threads on similar topics but they seemed to get derailed quickly.

Has anyone successfully navigated the insurance route? Any hints or tricks?

*Actually, you can't break them in half. It's more like 60/40 due to the teardrop shape. That makes you think...does this merit a 60 or just a 40? ;)

I PM'd you about a solution to this.

Basically, you're not going to get your insurance to cover it if they don't want to.

ED meds do all sorts of fun things miss. For a 20-something it's the easiest way to be multi-orgasmic, because you essentially don't have a refractory period.

It's nice to be able to bang, then pop, push rope for less than a minute and be back to rock hard in no time without stopping.

For the record, I'm taking  probably around 12mg of Sildenafil to do this (1/4 of a 50mg tablet).

I haven't used them in years, but back a few years ago, every once in a while when I knew I would be seeing four or five different girls every day for a few days I would take a half or a third of a Cialis tab to help speed up my recovery time between girls.

I hardly ever see more than two, or at the most three girls in any given day at my current "advanced age" so I don't bother with the ED meds anymore. I suppose "some day" I will need them just to go even once a day, but I am guessing that day is still a couple of decades in the future. lol

No that doesn't solve your insurance question and I don't  have an answer for that. Maybe take this question to the ED board...sorry I mean the "over 60" board.

I am just commenting on your last paragraph about not being able to break them in half. A pill cutter should be able to cut precise halves despite the shape of the pill.

...it comes in 20 mg pills. Pay for it out of pocket. Your insurance company doesn't get involved. Don't mention insurance when at the pharmacy. Go to one that isn't your regular one. I pay $23 and some few cents for 30 pills (a months supply) at my local pharmacy. 30 pills gets me through the month easily as I take 3 (equals 60mg) before a session.

My urologist prescribes and dispenses sildenafil at a very reasonable rate.  It works as well as viagara at 10%  of the cost.  See a urologist, not your regular doc.

+1
see a urologist.
I recently got a scrip from my uro for 20 mg sildenafil, 30 pills with 3 refills. Printed a coupon from GoodRx . went to pharmacy and paid $16

They say, "Chinito's dick looks like a real penis.  Only smaller." Then they hold out their thumb and index finger to a span of two inches and laugh. rofl
