All internet browsers -- I prefer Firefox -- have private browsing mode where all links are removed once you close it or switch back to Normal mode. Also, there are some smartphone apps that can protect email accounts, sites, pics with a 4-digit password.

is not to use Explorer. Use FireFox, Chrome, Safari etc., and enable private browsing. Not sure how this will help with email though. Password protecting your private information is a solution as long as you don’t give out your password.

This is what I call personal space.

Then NEVER turn over a running computer.  (I bought wifee her own laptop.)  just deleting is not enough.  An overwrite program (like CC cleaner) will scrub a computer but is time consuming to do a max level overwrite.  I do so periodically (frequently) as part of my ciber security system.   Oh, yes, stay off adult sites when anyone might walk in on you.

NEVER use company equipment for adult sites unless you own the company & have no BOD to answer to.

Ditto. Firefox private browsing erases EVERY location you visited when you shut down the browser, except for those that you have bookmarked. Yea, you have to type in the web address every time you go online, but it's worth the privacy.

As far as passwords, you should have them memorized, & not something easily guessed by those around you. As far as Smartphones, there are apps, such as 'Lookout' that after 3 incorrect password entries, will wipe your phone.
