TER has supplied us with a wonderful toolbox called the search function. You can search or  look up various topics, providers by name, providers by phone etc.  I see the same  old tired repetitive topics on this board over and over and over because no one uses the search functions.  The problem is most are too lazy or  too dumb to use the search functions and want others to reach out without doing their homework.  When people use their brains, and are not lazy I'm very helpful.  TER is not a soup kitchen for mental invalids or the terminally slothful.

On the regional boards we have dumb ass questions asked about providers, inane hotel questions (should never be discussed on boards), and the same old same old questions too.  Do a TER search, and stop the laziness, stupidity, and ignorance. IF YOU ARE NOT VIP - GET VIP!   You spend many thousands per year on sex, get the info you need, get TER VIP,  and perform searches for topics and girls. Let's stop the stupidity and sloth.

Sometimes they are just very new and don't know the layout of the website that well. So, its the function of time.

Sometimes they are just arrogant, and want everything spoon fed to them.

However, there are some things that you can't search. Try searching a Korean provider for me in DC area. Not Asian... It has to be Korean...  It is perfectly valid to ask these questions on the board. That's what the boards are for. You can't paint everyone with the same broad brush.

That would pretty much end the discussion boards

Without those threads there is now nothing left to discuss...at least without threads being dismantled!

Most questions are asked many 100s of times on this board.  Gifts, falling in love with provider or hobbyist, tipping, shaved balls or pussy, implants or not, screening, agency vs Indy,  STDs, types of condoms, incall or outcall, what do guys want on a website etcetera.  Why do we have 100s of threads on these topics?  Because people are too damn dumb or lazy to do a search, and for some reason mods allow these repetitive questions without ever issuing an admonition to members to use the search functions.

As for regional boards,  most of the inane and repetitive questions asked are  about hotels (really stupid to discuss), restaurants,  and who allows pictures, who has best BJs or DT, who has best massage, who is best BDSM, who allows anal,  who has best natural tits, STDs etcetera.  Again people we have search functions for these old rehashed questions. Boards can be searched, and Reviews can be searched. Searches can be done in many combinations.  Stop the laziness, sloth, foolishness, and asinine,  dim-witted questions.  TER gave us a fine tool for this. It's called SEARCH.  Start using it please and stop being so lame.

FYI...I have a short wick for lazy stupid people too. Of course there is one word you left out- ignorant. Some people may post what appears to be a stupid, lazy , slothful (sounds biblical are you a preacher) but in reality they ARE attempting to learn, and are ignorant of the tools available. Ignorant is a good word as long as one chooses to not hang out there indefinitely.

I do get the OP's gripe about people too lazy to do ANY research.  But even with research and reviews, the lady a guy meets, is going to do, at that time, given his personality, hygiene etc, what she feels okay with. All the rest is just another guys experience  and even that might be either under reported or over exaggerated.

the questions may be different, but over time, the players and faces change... so the responses and answers may change.

Not so much the subject matter but the inability of people to do a search first to see if what they have in mind has already been covered.

Problem with that is you can't comment and have that thread bumped up. Maybe the people posting the same stuff want a current/different POV than what they read about...oh hell who knows for sure..

...the search is specific to that board. Newbies that don't know there is a newbie board. ( yeah, I know, take some time to look around) may try to search on the GD board and get little or nothing of use but if they searched on the newbie board they would find more than they could ever get through.

It has happened to me a few times as I know I read a specific thing but can't remember which board and I have to search all of them.

...they didn't change the default 30 day search to 300 or even 3000.  Don't overestimate their intelligence.

The Newbie Board should be called just that  --  The Newbie Board.  Calling it "FAQ for Newbies" leads newbies to think it's just a list of questions and answers when it's really an advice board, so they don't go there.

In this computer age, with google and what not, you'd think everyone knows how to search. Funny thing I always think about, is that most people probably found TER by doing some type of search, then what happened? After they got here, they forgot how to search!

On the newbie board the same questions are asked on a daily basis, sometimes thread after thread. We try to be nice there and answer over and over again. Once I was even scolded for telling a newbie to search! What happened to "Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll eat for life."

For shits and giggles, just a few days ago, I was reading the first few pages on various different boards. On the newbie board, in the very earliest days, the moderators were making announcements to search first before asking because they are tired of answering the same thing over and over!

By the way, a bit of trivia. BigPapasan had a post on the second thread ever on the newbie board! And he is still posting there 10 years later! Congrats Big P!

20% does the work and the 80% talks a lot that is what happens in corporate America. Next time you are at work, look at the social butterflies who volunteer for all the employee activities and those who come up with these. Observe the break room, water cooler, etc., these people have better solution for every damn thing but wouldn’t, couldn’t, they just like talk about it.
