Companions are constantly pushing "Duo's".  Here is my take on it.  I had one, a good one with my ATF and her favorite duo partner.  It was great, but two separate dates with both girls would have been more fun.  To me it's like having your two favorite flavors of ice cream in the same bowl.  They melt together and they aren't as good.  i think the girls push duo's for the following reasons.  1) The duo partner is one of their "girlfriends" and we are subsidizing the event.  2) They both get paid but don't have to work as hard and their expense is halved.  3) They know what we are capable of and that we will be "out of ammo" early in the game, giving them more time to play with each other.
Personally, I would rather book two separate dates than one double price duo.  I'm at best a two and done.  Why spend double the price per pop.
