I use agencies for spur of the moment fuck meets..If the provider is visiting and I am interested, then I might book as far as a month, but typically its a week or so.

As for me LJ....I plan in advance.  Frequently a week or two in advance.

Elle, an ideal client will book several days in advance.  When you meet that guy, tell him we all said hello, lol.  I try to book in advance, but the male sex drive is impulsive & capricious.  If I want to see you this afternoon, that's very little notice & I'll understand if you can't make it.  But don't expect me to reschedule for next Thursday.  My sex drive doesn't work that way.   So try to be as flexible as possible.  And work with the guy, e.g.: " I can't see you at noon, but I'm free after 4."  Strike while the iron is still hot.  

There was a local provider I used to see--not beautiful, a girl-next-door type.  But she had a remarkable sense of timing.  She knew I got paid every two weeks, & she'd often text me right before or right on payday.  She'd just text something like "How r u,  meet this afternoon?"   I spent a lot of money on her, even though she wasn't nearly as beautiful as my ATF, who lived out of state.  The girl-next-door was smart, close by & available.  Those factors will often trump beauty.    I hope that helps.  --z

All guys book at different times. Many are last minute or same day. Many do it in advance. You should choose what is best for you. Last minute sometimes is tough for screening purposes, unless it is someone you know.

You decide how you want to do it, and the men? They will figure it out.

for which I am very grateful.   And that makes it difficult for last minute requests from established friends.  Eventually my friends who ask "last-minute" learn to ask with more advance notice.    Of course not every person can do that..... and I recognize that.    To me, if I were a guy.....  I would wanna strike when the mood hits me....   which is NOW baby....      How often does a guy think about sex?  Isn't it like once every 12 seconds....  lol.  and I say that with much luv.  MUCH luv.  
 
As a provider,I think it's impossible to cater "specifically" to ONE TYPE of schedule IMO.... We all have different situations with the logistics of our date settings though, which makes all the difference.  Also, it's a personal preference, depending on our individual personality and ability to be flexible.   For example:  I put on my calendar that I'm available generally from 10-9  So,  If my last appointment on a day ends at 6pm and I go home and get all settled into my couch with my puppy....and then someone I know calls or texts me at 7 and says.....hey can you see me at 8.....

I think it IS important to establish with friends the type of notice we "prefer" to have.  When you set certain parameters, People generally tend to stay within them.  

Life can be Sporadic at times.  and Spontaneity is so exxxciting.

Like the time when I saw that cute guy getting off work at the grocery store.......   oh wait, that story would be for a different thread.

last minute decisions can lead to last minute experiences...at least in my experiences.

and with traveling gals it could be well over a month depending on when I see their first ad mentioning that they would be around.

I only go last minute when some previous plan falls through.

I live in a small town, hobby wasteland. When I book a "special" date with a quality, reviewed provider, I usually have to travel, and book weeks to a month or more in advance. For instance, I have a date set up for the first week in December, for which I will drive about 3 hours. This time, I'll actually stay in a hotel for a couple of days and do some Xmas shopping while I'm there.

In-between, I browse backpage, and occasionally set up same-day (sometimes same HOUR) appointments.

I know several providers who have very classy websites, and advertise on EROS and other high-end venues, require screening, and claim NOT to do same-day appointments, who also periodically post on backpage or other underground adult sites to pick up day-to-day business. It's a lot harder, if not impossible, to screen those guys, so you have to figure out ways to stay safe.

You will get different opinions on the scheduling method.

Most importantly, you do whatever is most comfortable for you.

So I always had to pre book.
So I guess what I'm saying is I never even thought of a spur of the moment date.
Except that one time in Vegas...

Latest I booked was 12 hours in advance and the earliest was a few days.
I have yet to book a few weeks out.
It's difficult to book that far out because you never know what might come up and I would hate to reschedule.

I don't think I'll ever book a few hours in advance or last minute.
Some providers are cool with last minute bookings if there aren't any appointments.
They'll post a time window of how long they plan to work that day. For example, 8am-8pm.

Prebooking is imperative for traveling providers.
You have to have guaranteed appointments to make your travel worthwhile.

If I'm playing at home (rare) its a day or two. If I travel to a well populated city (NY, LA, Etc.) its a week or two max.  If she is flying to meet me in East Bumblefuck or some other less popular location, it can be up to 2 months in advance...Airline tickets are much cheaper that way.

I travel a lot, and I enjoy the flirting & build-up so I generally book about 2 weeks in advance--but almost always a week ahead.  I just made one appointment for the end of the month, and one for February.

I know that does not fit some other guys, and I suspect my situation is the minority, but not a 1 or 2 percent minority.

No matter what, confirmation on the day of is always necessary.  Or otherwise, there is no appointment.

Majority of gents that contact me pre-book their appointments anywhere from a couple days in advance to a  month or two in advance.
I do get same day requests if the gent is a P411 or Date-Check member with references and my schedule is free I will do a same day appt.
I prefer pre-booking if a gent knows his schedule already and lets me know that is great I know sometimes the day or times need to be changed.I like to know my schedule in advance if possible.

have done two weeks before for longer appointments or outcalls.

Advance bookings don't work well for me.  Business comes up suddenly often.  My moos doesn't stay the same over a week.
