TER General Board

double booking-let's not start...sad_smile

I normally see providers on business trips (not unusual to be sure) and therefore I do my homework on TER or other boards and then arrange as early as the provider can commit to a date and time.  This has usually worked except the last 3 trips.  For one seemingly legitimate reason or another (being sick, late return from a trip, family illness, whatever) I have been cancelled upon and I find out only when I call that day to reconfirm!  This brings up a problem.  Namely, I don't like to then turn back to looking to make last minute arrangements as these can be bad so I go without.  While my wallet is a bit happier as a result, I have to admit, I feel a bit put out!  It would be a bad precendent to start to double book for the same day, then call the first and cancel the second on that day as this would put the providers into a scheduling nightmare...any suggestions?  This last time was particularly annoying in that the provider really put me through considerable screening up front with at least 2 pleasant phone conversations.  I am sure I was not screened 'out' but perhaps just unlucky.  Hearing from providers on this would be useful as well.
Thanks

in the room.  I usually booked 2 appointments, daytime and nightime during a trip.  If one fell through, I still had time to search local ad malls/TER to find a new replacement.

If I got too tired due to earlier activities, I would simple get a nude massage, have a casual talk and call it a day.

...it just doesn't seem too cool.  I hear you about the massage option though.  I was in a town that is poorly 'provided for' so no massage unless I went somewhere out off the highway and didn't feel like renting a car just for that!

if I got too tired, I would just get a massage from the second one or talked with her while enjoying the sight of her naked body. :-)

Having fun with a lady doesn't always mean FS.  :-)

I've had this happen only once, when a lady was very sick.  She had food poisoning and was kind enough to call me from the hospital emergency room!

I was lucky enough to have had a room with Internet connection and able to find someone else who was available.

But the way...the second lady was terrific.  The first lady I did have a date with at another time and also lovely.

Misery loves company. This has happened to me twice in the last two weeks too, with the girls no showing an appointment and in my case they didn't even call. I hate when that happens, because then I get in a panic mode and have made bad decisions about who I get. If they are not in TER, don't do it, has been my number one thing I have learned here.

First, let me tell you how sorry am I that this happened to you. This is a profession. If we expect men to take us seriously, then we have to respond in a business-like and considerate manner, too.

I have never cancelled on a client. I'd have to be extremely ill to do so, but I would hope that I could at least make it to a telephone to let him know in advance. However, incidents in life do come up that we cannot foresee. I certainly hope you have better luck in the future. Perhaps the next time you arrange a meeting with a provider, you could inform her of what happened to you in the past and that it didn't settle well with you, nor did you consider it professional. Then, perhaps, she will go out of her way to prove your bad experience wrong -- at least with another good provider situation.

Hugs,
Ciara

i think if a gal has to cancel, it is for a reason. it is better than getting together w/ a provider who might have a lot of problems on her mind and have a bad session. check out ter to find out which gals are reliable and which are not.

I've developed a network of reliable semi-pro's for the cities I travel to but even then, I always travel with a back-up plan in case my regular bags out on me.  I leave it with the back-up provider that I'll call around noonish if my schedule allows a session that evening.  Besides the one or two back-ups, I have phone numbers for three others with me - obviating the need for a hotel with high speed 'net access.  If my regular provider falls through, I have a reasonable alternative.

Besides, having a provider cancel can do a good thing.  I had this happen my last trip to L.A. and the back-up turned out to be better than the original!
