END OF MESSAGE

I was driving a family member somewhere today, and wanted to show them this nice place i had visited. I scrolled down to past addresses on my GPS System, and we make our way over to this place.

As we're approaching closer I realize the address to a hotel I had went to, to go see a provider a month before, was logged in. Being half a mile down the road from the hotel, I quickley pick up the GPS System, and found the address to the place I wanted to take them.

I simply said "This thing is taking up in the wrong direction".

I was so scared had that my GPS System would say "You have arrived to Hotel-x", and them asking why were you visiting this hotel, so far from home.

Heard about a family whose GPS and van got stolen while they were watching a ballgame.
The thieves not only got their GPS but went straight to their home (knowing they were watching a ballgame for hours) and ransack and emptied everything in their house.  Watch out for the GPS.

Obviously I don't know the brand of gps you use, but most have a clear, or delete option so that you can erase all searches.  My gps also has a search by "intersection" option  instead of exact address. Anyway, it's like all technology, you need to learn how to cover your tracks

...has a memory.  GPS, Smart phones and computers.  Clear or delete anything related to the hobby and never give the wrong eyes a chance to see it.

Is it my fault they are within sight of a hotel?   The fact is, because of distances to travel I need to allow extra time for traffic or weather.  I NEVER sit in a hotel lot killing time.  I go get a snack or a coffee, call from the resturant lot allowing my time to return to the hotel.
