I agree, Naima. However, a BAD provider takes money from the pockets of the good ones AND from the guys who see them. They hurt everyone.  

I will only do a review if asked or agreed in advance with a provider. I hate doing them, and hate reading them - it just seems like so much high school asshat bragging and exaggeration.

Others am sure have differing opinions but went outside a non-TER provider and dice came up bad. Debatable pics...awful attitude even when I gave extra present at outset...the "let's get on with it". no kissing/talking, etc. After a year of such great mutual respect and pleasure you run across this type of thing...live and learn I guess

I jfirst suggested lets split this down the middle but after resistance later said "my fault price you pay for being stupid" and left

Not to patronize TER but we are members for a reason and now I no why. never again. Thanks TER

There are plenty of good sites besides ter.  

I would not necessarily say this is the "Fucking Holy Grail" 100% of the time.

There are lots of sources for good information, but you need to learn how to use each source. Like you learned how to use TER. I use other tools at times with mixed results, but I recognize that a lot of that is simply down to not completely understanding what information is trustworthy, and what is not. I know that here.

And then, every once in a while, I ignore everything I know and end up doing something stupid using TER. And TER had its limits. So it is good to explore a little, and necessary in some places where TER does not have much of a presence.

A lot of it has to do with common sense. Most of the time google is my best friend before I TOFTT. TER has helped stay away from shady providers and I like all have had really positive results from TER. We are all in this together and I really enjoy contributing my .02 especially to let everyone know what to expect from a new provider.
