Seriously, my friend, it's not worth it!
goosfraba... goosfraba... goosfrabaDo you consider yourself a hobbyist or a john ? What are the technical differences ?
A Great American Whoremonger of Indian origin, a baseball fanatic, an avid supporter of the 2nd Amendment, and a fierce and unabashed Heterosexual

All those donations I'm giving out has to be for a good cause...
:
When I get old, I intend to donate more and become an even bigger philanthropist. I feel good every time I donate, knowing that I'm helping those who could really use the donations.
Maybe I'll set up my own hobby foundation
Which begs the question. Why is everybody so fucking PC on a fuck board?
If the Chinese guys here can call ourselves chinks, and one of our "Members of the tribe" no feathers on him either, can call himself the world's worst Jew, why do we have to pussy foot around what kind of Indian you are.
I guess maybe we could call you the "customer service" kind instead of the "casino" kind? Or is that too non PC as well?
Not talking about anyone on this thread, but some of the most PC people are the biggest closet racists out there.
My Dad is full blooded Dutch, born in the old country, but my Mom was a mutt, makes me a mutt. Funny thing is, no provider has ever asked my heritage, so I'm guessing they don't care much. Just as I've never had one care what color the envelope is, only that my buddy Benjamin is hanging out with his twins. I love the guy, he introduces me to some really awesome women, great guy.
The traditional ASL signs for Native American and Indian are comically non-PC. There are some less offensive signs being adopted by the deaf community, but I still had to learn the vaguely racist ones. Funny shit.
Edit: changed "dead" to "deaf." Fucking autocorrect.

I'm neither. I'm a client ... and a damn good one LOL
Seriously, my friend, it's not worth it!
goosfraba... goosfraba... goosfraba
Anything tried only once is a one time experience .
An experience tried once that turns into something fun enough to do repetitively is a hobby .
When I book a provider for the first time I'm a John . If I book her again I found a new hobby .
If I fall head over sneakers with her and text her twice a week to ask how she's doing , I'm a pest John .
If she asks me to stay overnight OTC when she's feeling lonely for company , I'm a pet John .
I often wonder , how many guys try to answer their own questions , before asking for answers ?
However; most Civvie women still consider me (and others of my ilk) a disgusting, repulsive, immoral, reprehensible, vile, loathsome, less than human pig if my/our otherwise "discerning" whore-mongering comes to their attention.
It's a shame we can't get the same tolerance and acceptance as do Gay men or white collar criminals.
We will have to decriminalize mongering. Social acceptance will eventually follow.
This isn't a hobby but my lifestyle choice. So you can call me a john, a trick, a client, a whore mongering pig, or whatever you choose. It really makes no difference to me. I just enjoy having an hour or two of amazing BCD fun with beautiful women without all the drama or commitment.
..but speaking from a sense of semantics (or nomenclature), I hate terms like "John" or "monger" (being on the left side of the pond, I don't know what sort of implications attach to a term like "punter").
When I was first introduced to the TER world, I immediately gravitated to the term "hobbyist"; it sounded nice, slightly code-word-ish, and seemed to have few negative connotations to me (that may just be because I hadn't heard it before, but whatever…).
As for those who claimed there was no difference between hooker/escort/courtesan/whatever, my thoughts run along the same lines. "Hooker" just sounds so seedy. "Courtesan" is cute, but seems to suggest something out of the Middle Ages or the Arabian Knights. "Escort" is sort of ok--although even that term sounds a little seedy.
"Provider" struck me as a nice balance, although perhaps sounding a bit too clinical.
You know how I refer to the marvelous young ladies I see from time to time? I just call them "friends". Since I tend to repeat frequently with a relatively small amount of women (I'm not trying to sample every type or variety of woman out there--just not my style), it's inevitable that there is some kind of connection/friendship/whatever that develops. "Friend" is a nice generic term--it works for me.
...I define myself as a True Human. I don't define myself by my craft or any project I contract with. I don't define myself by any religion or even atheism. I don't define myself as belonging to any race or ethnic background. I'm an American, I'm male-- Those are conditions, not definitions. Why would I define myself as a participant in any activity I engage in?
In the screening process, saying you are a hobbyist or saying you are a John or whatever will get you no points. It's a question like a stranger gets at a Friday afternoon cocktail party when someone asks, "What do you do?" If the guys says, I drive a Mercedes, it elicits a quixotic stare because the question meant, What do you do for a living or what kind of educational path are you on.
Here, people refer to each other as hobbyists or as providers, depending.
Even SAYING the phrase "define yourself" in connection with this activity diminishes both the person and the action.
Okay, so today I'm not in the best mood. Forget it
Makes sense to me!
Why is this any different than the rest of society that hooks up in bars, on business trips, with friend's spouses .... OK, get the idea?
We're no different except for how we met
I'm cool with that..
Okay...
The hobbyist is just like the "Proffesional Hobbyist"..
You know? That thread down there.. Just not as extreme.
He really cares about numbers.. Back channels all of the time..
To get the other hobbyist skinny on her..
I'm not knocking that way of doing this...
It just isn't me... It's rare I need to back channel to know a girl is safe.
So I have no reason to do it...
I would rather just meet a new person without knowing everything about her game..
IMO.. That makes me a John..
I don't keep score.
Also.. I can't do this as much as most of the guys here.
So for me.. It's a little bit more of a treat I guess..
You did answers were very honest .. and seems with humor , from heart , alive ..
so you are not bad people there at all ...
Only one thing ..
-do not let anybody to classify you - who you are - john or not john
it is just social and cultural norms, barriers ..believes ,,
do not become part of the crowd and let society to label you .. may be it is religious thing in states .. that you so easy accepting other people s judgement about what is good for you and who you are if you want just a woman .... not call yourself nor johns nor women are hookers .. not become one of those for whom ANY woman is hooker ... if you want woman and ready to pay you are just a client and that does not stop you to be and lover as well ..
and woman is she enjoys sex with many men she is not a hooker ..
By the way Hooker typical American History word .. you know of course and yourself who was General Hooker?
.. any way I had a lot of fun reading your honest answers and it tell you true changes a bit my perception about so called johns ... you are just horny unsatisfied bored in every day life men ..
johns and hookers ... it is just ridiculous words.. not label yourself please with any of those
Cheers ..
I believe in you... unconditionally ... no matter will I see you or not .. but I love males as it is . honest, with humor, easy going .. admitting own pitfalls and as rule males never making any vendettas . ..and not keeping long time if some one hurt you .. you do recover way better then women from any life hardships... you are and romantic and dirty minded .. and needy and cold an artists and workers o your shoulders soooo much responsibilities .. .. so not feel yourself as you are johns .. it is just a word .
I guess I always treat men better then he even treat himself ... you do deserve better then john and hooker type thing .. we are all adults .. we are all very well know what does it mean.
Be a client with adult companion - it fits better to most of you

I'm buying a good time. How is this different from going to a movie or an amusement park except that the entertainment provider is physically providing the entertainment (and if I do it right, being entertained in return as well as receiving monetary compensation).
