Are TER members a cut above the general mongering world or are we a representative average. Please indulge me in my long post.

 
Specifically, in reviews or guys post on the boards, "Be nice to the girl", or "show up freshly showered", and "treat her nicely", are we preaching to the choir? I get a sense that TER members, in general, are a cut above the mongering world. A lot more resources, or at least not looking for the B'more crack whore for $60 buck suck and fuck car date. Also, 80/20 rule in effect, but I don't feel TER members beat and rob providers. The vast majority playing in the $300 to $600 range (the lower numbers being K-Girls and agencies). This would be the adjusted bell curve, with the trailing upper end in the +600 and lower end, $180ish, in the rub and tug, and Bedpage range.

 
What are your thoughts? Are public service announcements a waste of space here on TER or a necessary evil because, well, people are people?  

And even if we do say "treat her nicely", there will always be guys who short the donation, push the boundaries (try to slip off the condom), and physically push the girls (choking). And even if you remind guys not to do that, they'll do it anyway because that's just who they are.

 
I'm always shocked at behaviors. For example, I'd never grab a girl's ass in a bar. I've learned over the years talking to friends its pretty common behavior. Women have just shaken it off in the past. Today's world is different, a cultural shift. Maybe a product of years and years of boorish behavior and subsequent reaction of years of 'abuse' coming home to roost.

Welcome, your thoughts and thoughtful responses, men and women. Are PSA's wasted here on TER, or a good reminder because we are a representative swath of society on the board? And even if posted, does it or has it ever made a difference? Basically, does peer pressure/social pressure have an effect on members of TER? Does it make ANY difference to do a PSA?

So nobody can say what the lurkers are like. As for those who DO post, some have a clue and some don't (duh), so where does that leave us?

Side note, "treat her nicely" is a useless truism. The expectation is that you treat ALL women you see, working or not, nicely. So I get annoyed seeing this in reviews or in posts. Like, who is it for? If you need psa to say don't beat and rob women and treat them nicely, then you need to think about your audience.  

 
Especially the "treat her nicely and you'll be rewarded" cliche I find in reviews , because it implies if you weren't rewarded, that's because you didn't treat her nicely. Places the blame on the customer subconsciously.  

 

Anyway,  

From what I've seen, TER is no worse or better than other monger places. Providers writing here are definitely a notch above some h_x providers or whatever. Keep in mind that many mongers who really want info frequent many boards at once, and if they're more quiet or in line here doesn't mean they are so on other boards, or when it comes to actual session. There also are mongers to whom the price doesn't dictate the type of experience they seek; their dick and adrenal gland do. They can go get a car date with a streetwalker then go creampie a h-x provider and then pay 800 for a pornstars or established provider with rep who is on TER.

I knew a guy who was an upper-level executive, VP level. Lived in a "nice" neighborhood, drove a nice car, Mr. Suburbia. He liked finding the lowest, dirtiest, streetwalker he could find in Baltimore. The crappier the abandoned house he could find to do the deed in the better. I mean needles, empty bottles, discarded mattresses.  That was his kind. I don't know if he surfed "regular" girls and hotels.  

 
I'm wondering how many guys go from streetwalker, to AMPs to high end girls. It would be an interesting poll. I'm guessing guys who like the 'hunt' partake in a variety of levels. Similar to wanting a hamburger to a TGIF, and then a really nice restaurant every now and then.

 
Dunno, we all have our kinks. Some stranger than others, like the whole shoe thing. I don't get it. But to each his own.

It's meaningless ass-kissing. And to add to my post above, also bear in mind that the VAST majority of mongers in this world have no idea what TER even IS.
I met lots of American mongers in Costa Rica and Panama and never met ONE who knew what TER was.
So you can give out all the "wash your ass" pointers you want and 99 out of 100 mongers -- especially the ones who desperately need advice -- won't ever see it.

I got in when BP was the hot ticket, and found that experience to be horrendous. Luckily, I quickly found an ad on there for a girl residing within an agency, and never went back to BP again. Established with a few more agencies, and a few indies, and ive kept to that...although one agency shuttered, and my pool of indies either retired, or retired me from their client list, as i recently found out.
Even in my start....just common sense told me that, donation does not give cart Blanche to service. Respect, cleanliness, and good manners will always get you a better service, regardless the provider.

It does seem that most of those that post seem to be gentlemen in the sense of being respectful or the women they see and not looking at the woman as some sex servant/slave that should be happy the guy did them the favor to fucking them and also leaving the donation.

With regard to how people say things, particularly the "treat her nice" I suspect has several elements. First, it is probably more about signally "I'm not one of those scumbags" and more for the providers reading the reviews than the mongers.  Next is perhaps the cases where they do think others are such scumbags and they are basically saying "Guys, don't screw this up by acting like a jerk. I want her to stay around so don't chase her away." (Something of a selfish PSA.) Last, perhaps, is that they had a discussion with the woman about other clients who were not so great.

The ultimate in delusional bullshit.
