The ESPN article quotes, "USA Today reported Freeze resigned only hours after the university said it would provide a statement regarding the phone call. The report said the call was made on Jan. 19, 2016, to a 313 area code number and lasted only one minute. The USA Today report said the number is associated with websites that advertise a female escort business based in Tampa, Florida.".

Interesting to me that the area code is truly Detroit based area code used for a Tampa escort business. Close to home if the lady is from Detroit area or agency.  

I know ladies more and more use prepaid or Trac phones from different ate a codes from where they work or live, but I found this to be interesting.

Whether it was a recruit or himself does not matter so much.  Bet it was for him Self. M guess is head traveling through the area recruiting and found someone he fancied on a board. Who knows, may be he is a mmber here?

More general advice is to avoid giving up privacy for some cheap reason.  Of course you are only going to carry one phone with you and conduct your normal life.  So if someone else is entitled to control who you can call with it, you've turned over your private life to them.  For a few bucks a month.

Personally, I laughed when I read the story. Regardless of the fact that most D1 schools have their athletic coaches paid through a different channel, you're still employed by the University, therefore the state. I'm more than positive when hired, they told him that his records while working for a public institution were FOIA available upon request. He did it to himself. Also, let's be honest, all of the religious material he sputtered from the podium was more so for the living rooms than anything else.  When he was hired, there was something odd about him. However, I never thought Houston Nutt would be the reason he was ousted.  

As a SEC loyalist, all I know is this only reaffirms Ole Miss' last place ranking in my SEC West rankings. This season should be interesting.

P.S. Most SEC schools have Football Ambassadors, usually always sorority women of varying looks and pedigree that serve as the recruits arm candy during the day and take them out at night. The Grad Assistants most definitely handle all the "after midnight/1am" stuff.

So if we take the 313 area code and search for it on TER within a 50mi radius of Tampa, FL, we only get 1-3 providers that match that combo, one was reviewed 5 months ago...

I'm sure if you dug further, you could figure out, given the information that's been published, who exactly he was talking to.
