Up to now I've been tipping indies the same as agency providers. Do most of you tip independents the same way you would an agency provider, given that they get to keep the entire donation and not have to split it? Of course, they have room and travel expenses..but I'm just wondering..do indies expect the same kind of tip?

No escort should ever *expect* a tip.  If one is given it's a very nice bonus.  I've never considered for one second what agency girls may be getting tipped in relation to what I get tipped because I don't think about tips till they are given (probably because it's a lot rarer here in the UK than in the US).

Tip *if* you feel it's appropriate and what you feel is appropriate, I don't think it makes any difference re agency or indie.

I've always been confused by the notion that agency gals are more deserving of a tip because they split the fee.  Remember, indies have to cover the costs of an incall location, screening, advertising, webspace, TER membership, etc.  It is very easy for an agency gal to net more than an indie.

Tip the lady and the experience, not how she chooses to conduct her business.

Tip us if you think you had a good time and we were worth it...

If a provider is enthusiastic and fun, by all means tip....  If she has gone out of her way to give you a good time, it would be ungentlemanly NOT to tip....  However, indie v. agency gal?  Who cares....  Tip for service and attitude, not agency or indie....  STD

You are perfectly correct tipping in the States is different than here. Generally we have more open pricing and don't get hit in quite the same way on occasion for significant extras when she arrives. The London agency market is usually a bit more transparent from the start than what I've seen amongst some indies in New York, Miami and Vegas, where frequently I've been asked for extra. I've had to send people away in the past when they demanded more. Once with a lot of trouble.

I think you are also right in that you tip extra if it is appropriate. Same thing applies to any situation in life.

As an American living in the UK, I can say the people are great, and the ladies are lovely!!!  If only the legal situation of the hobby was the same at home, as it is here.

When a provider is getting $300 an hour, any tip is very generous and in my opinion should only be given for performance above and beyond (extended time, truly unique performance or tugged on your heartstrings)  Indies should have already taken into account their expenses when setting their rates.

In my experience, tipping has far more to do with the gentleman than the performance. Some men always tip,  others never do. Some calibrate the performance down to the last details to figure out what percentage to tip. You could give some men the time of their lives and not get a tip, but there are other men who will tip even if you're a little tired or off that day. I always just do my best without even considering tipping.

Weather I tip a provider has not bearing on wheater she is an indy or not.  What does that have to do with it?  I only tip when:
1) Provider is in the same physical condition as advertised on her pics.
2) She has a good attitude.
3) She is willing when asked, or offers to let me cum in her mouth.
4) She offers anal, or performs it willingly
If I don't happen to perform well, and she does. I still will tip.  It was not her fault.

I always tip,  unless the service was bad. You tip people when they do you a personal service: waitresses, bell-boys, barbers, pizza delivery guys. What is a more personal service than what an escort provides? It's the principle of the thing.
