It would certainly make sense with her - meaning that I would actually trust her and would pay her upfront. As I am uncertain as to whether I am in this hobby another week or another year, it wouldn't make sense for me. But she is one of three providers with whom I would trust on this type of arrangement, out of the maybe 40 or 45 I have seen. So yes, I think it could work with the corect two people involved, and I think that a fair number of providers would jump at this type of arrangement if it was suggested. My .02

No, I am not just going to offer a discount because a guy "claims" he can see me more often if I do that. What I will do is agree to a MONTHLY rate that is usually 200 off my regular 2 hour rate all things considered. Just offering a discount does not guarantee me shit. So...good plan.

Yep...feel the same way. Without paying upfront, I don't honor any type of discount unless it is a referral fee. Even then, the guy will not get the fee off until AFTER I have made money off the guy he referred.

Providers got there first Ridge.. Sorry. But, it's a fabulous idea; under the right circumstances, of course.
Not only is it mutually beneficial in that a provider can book paid sessions in advance, and I get a ...umm....frequent flyer deal?...lol....I don't have to remember to make time to get to the bank, every time, before I show up.
Only so many hours in my day...so I'm all for any added efficiencies I can find 
I believe many providers would've open to it. Regulars are awesome to have and are very appreciated. You developed greater chemistry. Percs are a plus.

I briefly gave the standard BS line. Then one of the teenagers started to ask more detailed ?'s. Damn, you little punk! So I gave the 2nd BS line about time value of $$$ and how you can use that in the market, blah, blah, blah. (Note: A dollar today is worth MORE than a dollar one year from now).
So that got me 2 thinking about Providers, as I am wont to do.
It hit me that Providers and Hobbyists could benefit from this concept. A Provider charges $300 per session. You agree to pay her for 4 sessions UPRFRONT. But the catch is the 4th session is 1/2 off. Obviously there would have to be some "spacing out" of the sessions. Say the first 2 sessions are for the first 30 days and the next 2 sessions are for the next 60 days. (adjust to your taste - ha ha ha)
She gets the $$$ uprfront! You get a discounted session! Everyone WINS!
(For all you smartasses - of course this only works for well reviewed, ATFs and trustworthy Providers. Some things are a GIVEN in this business).

Lemme put it in a way you should be able to understand as a purportedly Wall Street BSD in Ohio (cough cough).
If you get a guarantee upfront (say, 2mm x 2 years), what's to give you incentive to NOT just sit on your ass the next two years if you are guaranteed 4mm over the next two years?
If the chick gets paid upfront for four sessions, she has your money already. Not like you can tell the cops that you need a hooker to make good on her promise that you prepaid her for sex.
Besides, you haven't done the math for present value. What rate are you using for the discount rate? With rates being so low, there is very little time value of money.
The arrangement can be anything you agree on, but for ex. you agree to see a girl four times in a month. You get a hefty discount (like the 4th date free) for paying up front.
People should only do this w/ those they trust, but it happens.

I can't tell you how many times in the past I have given money upfront to a provider and she reneged or changed the rules on me.
One I recently lent $300 to changed the rules on me. To be fair, however, I told her that I wasn't gonna hold her to the terms.
It was a bodyrub (not reviewed) that said, "Look, I really need some help. If you lend me $300, I will let you fuck me the next session." I've seen her since then, and she's just not comfortable with that and had second thoughts.
Which is fine, to be honest. I told her..."I will lend you the $300 and you can either pay me back, or we can figure something out. But I'm not gonna hold your feet to the fire, because I don't want you to fuck me under duress."
And I think we are both fine with the outcome.

For the financially illiterate, let's do the math. During the 3-month (30 day + 60 day) "payback period" let's assume for argument's sake the provider could invest and get 8% (which is great in the current market). Remember that returns are identified at an annual rate. In 3 months (one quarter) the return on an 8% investment would be 2%. Folks, 2% of $1,050 (3 X 300 + 150) is $21.00. Even waiting a year, it's still only $84.00. She is coming up way short. During this time the hobbyist pockets the $150 savings. Throw in the fact that one year CD's now pay as low as 0.27%, and the value of a stock investment could go down, is it not a ripoff "arrangement?"

this is how it works in the real world. Why do people buy whole life insurance of instead of term insurance? Term is mathematically better but the insurance industry has spent billions to convince people to buy the inferior product. Sometimes the logic is overruled by the market.
Why do people buy actively managed mutual funds when they should by the index fund? Most actively managed funds lag the market. The index fund is the mathematically superior choice.
