Well, not always.  That happened to me once with someone on her first day in my city, but who came with a great reputation.  When I said, "damn I left the donation in the car and I'll be back in 5 minutes."  She didn't say anything but the look on her face said, "just my luck my first day here to get an amateur who doesn't know what the hell he's doing."  But I was back in a flash, we connected and she had several years as a top provider here.  I think she's retired happily now but I do know there are many who miss her.
