Does not seem to have made a difference

Everyone looks at things from their own point of view.

Being very visual, seeing providers for 25 -30 years does not seem to have put much of a dent in my interest in pornography.

But then again, I don't look at internet pornography that much - maybe once a day, and that's all.

I know I am one of those strange girls. but, I love porn.. I know a few other ladies that do too..

I always thought it was weird that my boy friend at the time, had many paid subscriptions to porn but would never ever watch them with me.. what's up with that? I finally just decided maybe I didn't want to know..

Yes, is an issue for lots of guys.

When I was first with my wife I could not cum as I was so used to porn and masturbation that pussy just didn't fill as much. I had to give up both for a while to be able to cum in a reasonable time with my wife. It is a real issue for some men. Read her board I think this issue comes up as much as the "I have fallen in love with my provider/client and can't get up" thing does. I like porn but I have to limit how much I see or risk having issues again.

and now that I am over fifty, I rarely masturbate.

It takes about three days of "doing without" before I get much of an urge to "rub one out" on my own, fortunately it is a rarity for me to go more than a day or two without the real thing.

I guess I am the opposite of the guys who whack off to porn to the detriment of their "real" sex life. I only have so many orgasms left in me, I hate to waste any of them "whacking off"

Besides, been with a lady that did porn for awhile. And going to have a date with a lady in LV that has shit on the net. Prescreened, all I have to do is show up.

I'd be more interested in making them than watching them, anyway. ;)

As far playing with my purple-headed yogurt-slinger, I have pix of mrfisher for that!

that lasts for about 3-4 weeks, and then goes away.

I might masturbate once or twice during the week, usually the day after I have sex with someone.

So far it doesn't seem to affect my sexual performance.

Those whose primary mode of sensory input is visual, audio, and kinesthetic. I'm the latter, so porn doesn't do much for me.

I think it could depend on the level of his libido, his access to providers, and whether his primary mode of sensory input was more visual or more kinesthetic.

until I discoverd hobbying (on this level) ter where fantasy becomes reality, well for a few hours. I now can not remember the last time I watched a flick...

I thought the guy in the sweater made a good point at the end of the video.  Masturbation can be very different than sex, in regards to pressure, motion, etc.  So guys might be conditioning their bodies to expect to respond to different stimuli than what they have when they're with a woman.  I remember when I lost my virginity, after too many years of masturbation, and I was actually disappointed with the act itself because it was so different than what I had practiced religiously 'for the event.'  In a sense I had a to cultivate a new kind of appreciation (well, it didn't take very long...).

I've found porn addiction not to be significant in terms of performance, but more in cases where a girlfriend is really turned off by porn itself (knowing its on the harddrive of a shared computer, etc.) and the relationship suffers if the guy isn't able to adjust, i.e. he really has an addiction and won't stop himself/can't hide it successfully.

Re: faking an orgasm...it's crossed my mind more than once during a long marathon when I just couldn't make it happen and I didn't want to hurt the woman's feelings.  Many don't care, of course, especially in the hobby.

Poverty, alcoholism and disease is getting old.  Porn addiction is a lot sexier.

So I guess no one is going to own up to their porn, what a surprise. While I was riding an elevator at the Mandalay Bay after the AVN's three years ago, I heard someone say, "The only difference in the level of celebrity between a mainstream actress and a porn starlet, is no one wants to admit to knowing who the porn starlet is."

I don't get it. Is there still that much stigma?

I watch porn. Not excessively, but as a person who's lived with a lot of excesses my perception might be skewed. In any case, I don't see it as a problem, at least not for the reasons stated on that video clip.

Have I ever faked it - yes. Because I'm so jaded it can sometimes be difficult to get off with a chick who's a little (or WAY) too vanilla. Mish in a dark room ain't gonna do it for me.   Sometimes I have to let the darker areas of my mind go to work to get me there, which doesn't always work.

I don't see porn as the reason for it, or if it has played any part, it's only a very small part. I'm grounded enough that the lines between fiction and reality don't get blurry for me. But my life, such as it's been, has put me in situations stranger than fiction, sexual encounters not being an exception. So perhaps a lot of the things I see in porn don't seem as far fetched to me as they might for some. By extention - maybe I expect too much from my partners as a result.

If you like porn, fine. I don't. If you don't like it or don't believe me then please go fu.......

Almost forgot I was posting under my "real" name, but I am sure you get the point.

Stigma about watching porn where people routinely admit to how often they jack off? Give me a fucking break. I like to fuck, I am not really interested in watching other people fuck, if you don't like it, TOUGH!!!

I'd much rather be a participant than a viewer.

As a matter of fact, I had it happen live and inperson a few months ago. Walked in, saw them get after it for a few moments, then walked out onto my patio with someone else. And actually TALKED! lol!

I'm not against anyone watching porn, or getting themselves off to it. If that chubs your wood, knock yourself out.

Actually, I think it's kind of a distraction if it's on while I'm getting busy with a lady. I've had friends give me pornos cuz their SO's found it and made them give it up. They know I hobby, so they naturally gave it to me. I'd put one on and fall asleep, just like when I watch any other movie.

I was gonna invite the two of you over to watch me turn some pretty young thing into a pin cushion.  Since you don't like porn, I guess there's also no point in sending you the DVD.  BTW, I'm the fat, balding white guy in the movie, lol.

and bullshit until it's OUR turns.

I mean, you're not going to bogart her all to yourself, are you?

Puff, puff, give. Puff, puff, give! ;)

"Do you really think that the likes of MP67 and me would really lie about this?" - At what point did you spy me pointing my finger in your direction? Not that I believe anyone on this board, including you, is exempt from emitting bullshit, but I don't recall naming anyone a liar. I did find it amusing that of all the replies at the time of my post, none were of the affirmative - the jest of my comment being the porn lovers were scared to join the discussion for god knows what reason. You PMSing or something? Take a hot bath.

"If you like porn, fine." - Thanks for giving me the nod, boss.

"I don't." - You already said that.

"If you don't like it or don't believe me then please go fu......." Go what? Fuck off? Fuck myself? Further into the depths of depravity? Don't bite your tongue, ya never do any other time.

"Stigma about watching porn" - Must be a generational thing with you baby boomers. Porn, sex and the like is an open discussion amongst people my age. No shame in our game.

"where people routinely admit to how often they jack off" - Who said anything about that? I asked about the stigma surrounding watching porn, nothing about how often someone jerks off - but since you mentioned it, why the hell not? Consider the venue in which this discussion is taking place; nameless, faceless, opinions.

"Give me a fucking break." - Sounds like you need one.

"I like to fuck, I am not really interested in watching other people fuck" - Ok, but I'm not the one who hands out medals for that. Check with LG, maybe she has them.

"if you don't like it, TOUGH!!!" - But you don't really have the illusion that I give a fuck what you like, now do you...

I stay away from porn until after I get 1 or 2 pops from a hobby session.
Porn comes in handy after a session, because I always want to have more pops.

If my hobby budget runs out, then porn is a good deterrent from going overboard your
hobby budget.  Last five days, I spent $700 bucks on the hobby, and I though I'd
go back to porn and resume the hobby next week.

What the video said about the wife not getting bothered is true though.  S.O. usually say
"I'm tired, don't hold me ... your hands are too cold (winter)".   or "I'm sleepy, don't
wake me up with your boner."

So what are you gonna do with that boner? Porn is the easy way out.  Unless, you get the boy down and wait another 12 hours to schedule for a provider to take care of the lingering boner.

Of course, it is a real problem, but you already would know my view, LG. Given your NMM program, I am guessing I know yours as well. Joy's program actually seems pretty realistic in its treatment of this. Did anyone see the BBC show about chronic masturbators? It was a real cringer, just a documentary about three guys for whom masturbation was pretty much their entire lives. I do not believe that was representative of much of anything, just a freak show, and I could not watch much of it. (I do not get the attraction of public humiliation, either for the people being humiliated of the audience, though I accept this is a minority view). One guy was thrown out by his wife, could not get or keep a job, because he kept ducking out to jerk off. Another guy had two or three inflatable girlfriends who kept him company at home - I think he had names for them and called them his friends - and was looking for a real girl to share this life. Even when he found one who accepted it in concept, the invitation to lunch with his other ladies was a little much to take.

Can't see how you will get a truly representative response here either, as the peer pressure being exerted in this thread already shows.

So I am left speculating about your motive, and I have a guess, but I defer to your wisdom and will keep the speculation to myself.
