IMHO Feds are looking for BIG FISH here with this Eros bust and at the same time holding their "Big Brother" cards tight to the vest. (maybe to use later?) I gotta think their digging for underage/alien sex trafficking, slavery, big money laundering etc. Because of the internet this is crossing state lines and that takes it into Uncle Sam territory. Listen, If Sam wants you, Sam will get you! With today`s technology I wouldn`t be surprised if the Feds could do remote colonoscopies on our asses if they thought we were hiding something up there, lol.
How much would it cost the Fed/State to bust every single advertising provider in the US?? Exactly, and that aint happening. Think of all the court delays, appeals, toss outs for lack of evidence, violations of constitutional rights, illegal search and seizures etc, mind boggling isn`t it!
I think that most of you providers fear (and rightfully so) being "outed" to your family, friends, civvie jobs and your community. I have the utmost empathy for you trying to stay UTR at the same time getting the most mileage for your efforts while pleasing the likes of me and my contemporaries in our hobby. Bless you all for that but If it did play out badly, what would be the damage for a level four first offense, a $100 wrist slap? Not trying to minimize here, God forbid this should happen but there is a risk factor no doubt that you were aware of "goin' in" but lets chill a little til we know more.
For now (I think and hope) LE will be content to occasionally bust a BP girl or pop a few low end street hoe`s in seedy neighborhoods which works for me as I stay far away from those venues. Upscale p4p only way to go.
It would do wonders for state/Fed budgets if they could legalize our hobby and sports betting too. Think of the tax revenue that would generate?!! I don`t think I can count that high........ Someday maybe. Meantime Sam and state, stay the fuck out of our bedrooms and go target terrorists.
Thanks for listening,
Jeff
