My mother's life was saved many years ago by those decent enough to give blood. She went on to live another 15 years from the multiple transfusions she required for severe anemia. Back in 1992, a suffered through a car crash that was so bad where I was a passenger. The driver was my girlfriend at the time that feel asleep at the wheel as darkness approached. We ended up driving off an Interstate bridge and dropping about 25 feet into the shallow creek below. We both were knocked unconscious from the impact even with seat belts on. We both awoke the next morning close to death from excessive blood loss due to compound bone fractures and lacerations. Blood transfusions saved the day.

I want to donate blood. However, the Red Cross warns you not to donate blood if you have used the services of prostitutes within the past year or have traveled to various countries in Southeast Asia.

Do any hobbyists donate blood without incident?

I can't answer for you, but I have not used the services of a prostitute. I have paid for the time and companionship of an escort, so I could truthfully answer the question in the negative. I did not donate blood to Red Cross, but a different organization. YMMV. They gave me a movie ticket and some restaurant coupons as an incentive, didn't use either one. They ran a battery of tests on my blood, definitely hepatitis and probably HIV, I don't specifically remember....It would only make sense that they would test for it, are they going to take everybody's word and risk liability and a possible epidemic?... I had to call in to find out if everything came up good, and it did, so the robot at the other end congratulated me on my humanitarian act....

...if you have exchanged money or drugs for sex.  Did you use the restaurant coupons and movie tickets on your "escort" or did you fuck her brains out?  She must have fucked YOUR brains out if you think you answered the question truthfully.

I haven't the slightest idea what you're talking about...And I did answer the question truthfully, according to statutory interpretation...

...a prostitute and escort when it comes to giving blood?  Did you give her money or drugs in exchange for sex?  That's the question - not whether she's a prostitute or an escort.

I've already answered that question.

Please re-read my initial post carefully.

I would never give money or drugs in exchange for sex.

It doesn't matter what I think, what matters is what the state legislature thinks and whether the medical provider shares information with other parties. Yes, i know there is HIPAA, but there are exceptions to HIPAA...

I pay the escort to kiss me on the lips.

Stop wasting my time with stupid questions!

I had never donated blood in my life. I thought about when a radio station gives tickets to rock concerts. But I only drove by the donation center.

Then bad times came and I had to "donate" plasma. How I hated it.
They have a screen where you answer questions about tattoos, drugs, jail or prison, sex between men or with a prostitute. Travel to other places, etc.

You see the people there, bums, drug users, poor, victims of the great recession,  average people.

First time you have to go inside a room and see a doctor, you donate but they check your blood. But after that and if you pass, you can lie. People get tattoos all the time.  They go to jail and come out.... and they fuck around.

Hey Udo how come they don'tlike you around here. I think you're alright

What was the question, again?

...a disclaimer that "money is exchanged for time and companionship only" will magically protect them from getting arrested.

You'll be qualified to discuss the subject when you're Eliot Spitzer...Right now, you're just shooting your mouth off...So tell me all about the distinction between an escort and a prostitute when you went to court...Give me some legal tips, asshole...

And which state court would you see me in, Big Brother?

Can you cite me some statutes from such state and their defenses, just to help me out?

Escort, hooker, courtesan, whatever....if she fked you and you paid her, you had sex with a prostitute. Call it whatever you like. Now, I am not saying I would not have done the same thing lol, but get real here.

Um yep! I've yet to hear of one judge or DA who actually bought that line of crap when someone was busted lol. "Oh, we did not have sex officer. Those 20 condoms in my suit case are for water balloons I planned to toss of the roof top at the joggers."

I've given money and gifts to girlfriends and then certain body parts may have touched. Same thing.

Did you contact those wives and girlfriends from ADS ON ADULT BOARDS that led you to their reviews, rates, and photos?

You're seriously reaching honey, but if deluded is how you prefer to be...please continue.

One thing is for sure...you will never practice law.

Why do you think the smart providers refuse to meet a guy for coffee and take that as screening? You don't have to fk us to be arrested, honey. You're cuffed just for intent, and showing up equals intent. Most every bust I have seen, no money ever exchanged hands. All parties were taken to jail upon arrival, not after they paid her or got naked.

You contact a provider using the "escort" or "body rub" section of Backpage, and that's all they need to arrest you when you show up. I thought everyone over the age of 18 knew this stuff.

Oh, you're too funny! Yes, I left an envelope. That usually happens when giving gifts.

What website? I never saw a website...

The prosecutor will have to do his job and meet the burden of proof.

"One thing is for sure...you will never practice law."

Damn straight! I did it for nine years or so and hated it! Been there, done that.

It wasn't criminal law, but I had to read and interpret statutes, sometimes quite creatively, as you can tell, on a regular basis. That part I liked.

It was the asshole bosses and clients that drove me crazy

LMAO...that's your first mistake, but good luck to ya. Hope you never have to plead that pathetic story to a judge when there are email copies or phone records of you contacting a hooker.
