Do you really think that bitching about a marketing term...

... is a great topic for a hooker review board?
I think we should get back to bitching about only getting two pops in a 30 minute session or why my mother giving me a referral is not enough.
Ya know, the real important stuff.

I understand trying to add to the board. It's a valiant attempt. Thanks imanalias for contributing.

I'm in a freaking mood! I must need my balls drained or something.

Do you really think that is a good marketing statement?

Sorry, I’m just sick of seeing it. Please just write ur ad and let us decide not try to overstate yourself.

I guess I just skim over that part. Maybe you should too?

Oh my god, that is one hot photo. My focus is on men but I'd sidle up to that any day of the week.

It's an asset that helps her get more business.

Personally, if I were to pick any marketing fluffery to denigrate, it would be the oft cited "It's me, or it's free."  A pretty lame claim, when you reflect on it.

I think the OP is making that point that since everyone uses that statement it's completely lost any meaning or impact.

I see it more and more these days. It’s no longer catches my interest. On the DC Ad board today almost all the latest ads state it. With the limited text allowed in the subject line it seems a waste to use it on that.

I would rather see something like this -

Sensual & Voluptuous Persian GFE/PSE Playmate. Visiting One Day Only 3/18-19.

Or this - without the Highly Reviewed part.

Arden! New Pic! Highly Reviewed! Blond, Blue Eyed Squirter! 3/11-13 Dupont Circle, 3/14-16

Yet that first expanse starts with Highly Reviewed. I never know if they mean they have many reviews or highly rated, or both. I guess it inspires some to investigate but all it does for me is make me laugh. Especially when I see they have many reviews, but not highly rated.

I think everyone who has at least 2 reviews should include it in the subject line. Highly Rated or not LoL. Hell, for that matter everyone should simply post Highly Reviewed Must See and leave it at that.

It lost its meaning long ago for me. But I’m sure it is still a good catch phrase to use for marketing. I’m over it now, and yes I feel better now.

people complaining about ads.

Not sorry, I'm just sick of seeing it .

I live my life without worry of what others do. Life is way better when you could care less about something so trivial. Get yourself a provider that writes to your liking and stop complaining lmao.

Happy Thursday!

But complaining about stuff like this (which I've done myself) is like what my Dad used to call "pissing in your blue serge suit.  It briefly gives you a nice, warm feeling and nobody knows you did it."

I can also see a drunk like you pissing in it. lol

but I do agree that getting pissed about "highly reviewed" makes about as much sense as getting all butt hurt over "New and improved"

..... but eventually it gets wet, cold and smells bad. Then everyone knows you did it.

Most gents here prefer well reviewed providers versus unknowns without reviews (for a variety of reasons).  A provider advertises that she’s highly reviewed, it indicates that you can verify whatever else was in the ad that got your attention.

From an marketing point of view, the “highly reviewed” statement serves as a teaser that leads a potential client to contact the provider for review info.  Once a potential client makes initial contact, there’s a much higher likelihood of actually booking a date.

Now what’s always annoying is when an ad is placed by a provider, agency, assistant or pimp that claims highly reviewed when there are in fact no reviews available.  But I’m not going to deny a beautiful, gracious provider her right to tout her satisfied clients just because others might exaggerate the quality of their reviews!

This is what bothers you? LOL. Last night I had sex with a hot, young latina who stood 6' tall in her leather thigh high boots. Mid 30's, 5'6 w/o heels, long jet black hair...125 pounds with smooth, muscular legs and DD's that felt amazing. I wasn't thinking about the ad! I'm with the Senator on this one. Have fun man! I woke up this morning at 5am with a wood and was warm in my sheets thinking about that booty I was hitting last night. Not the ad!!! Hahahahahahahaha.

"Highly Reviewed" means she has a review or 2 that say "I should have stayed home".  She's hoping that the BP type client will not check 90% of the time & if they do, they'll not check the actual reviews.
It would be much more useful to post her TER number if not a link...  some do.

To me...I rarely pay any attention to those terms. I see it and it's like "Ok, so"...But it just slides off my shoulders.

We are subjected to thousands of advertising "impressions" daily and most of us have become inured to the point where it's all a low-level buzz, crackle and hum in the background. But every once in awhile, something rares up and bites us in the butt (and NOT in the fun way).

When I'm watching TV, I have the remote close to hand just in case the "new and improved" version of that DAMNED Chili's commercial with the baby back ribs jingle pops up so I can ZAP IT INTO EXTINCTION (for a few seconds anyway).

Yes, it feels good to vent now and again ;)

means she has reviews with high scores, or a large quantity of reviews without regard to the scores.  I would rather see "well-reviewed."  Wait . . . . same problem.  Never mind.

I think Highly Rated would be better, even if they only have 1 self written 10/10 review LoL

WARNING SARCASM : "With Over 50+ reviews, I am mediocre at best, half-assed at worst but legitimate none the less.  Hosting Downtown-->CALL NOW!"  but hey at least you know what to expect! And like someone said I am surprised that people even read my adds at this point, at first I was discouraged, disheartened even but then I just decided to focus my efforts elsewhere hence my Master Fellatrix Status lol

Suppose you are driving cross country and you need gas, you pull up to two service stations across from each other. One just has a sign that says "Gasoline" and exists in a bland building. The other is brightly painted and well lit, lots of colored banners advertising sales on tires and slurppies, etc. You just need gas ... Which one are you likely to pull in to. Most people will go to the sparkly one.  All the empty meaningless slogans actually signify something ... an eagerness to please.  Get the underlying vibe from the slogans. We all know they are empty in themselves, but they can convey an exuberant spirit in the whole.

The one with the lowest price

The sparkly one probably charges more to pay for all the glits and glamour marketing signs.

And that’s true of most Highly Reviewed providers, likely charging more than I care to pay. LoL

where I don't have to make a left turn across traffic. The one that is more convenient to get into and out of.

We are not allowed to say in our ads anything that indicates what our average score is because they want non vips to pay to find that out. When I first posted my average score my ad was removed by admin. So in order for us to give quick facts to browsing vip board members, as well as an indication of some sort to non members, we were actually told to use that term. It doesn’t necessarily mean a lot of reviews, it’s meant to mean that we have high scores. At that point it’s up to the gent to do the rest of the due diligence.
We only have so many  characters to grab your attention quickly in a headline and so many of the terms, and even actual characters, are not allowed. They are so specific that I have had ads removed for saying DDDD (not allowed to use all caps and for some reason DDD doesn’t usually cause the system to remove it). Once I used a slash / vs a dash - incorrectly when posting a visiting ad date and I had no idea it was removed until my tour was ruined from not having an ad up. I don’t even think we can use a lot of exclamation points, it’s tough to keep up with all of the rules. I got so tired of having to redo an entire ad for one small thing, which can actually be quite time  consuming, that eventually I just started going with what I know won’t likely get removed, especially when I’m in a time crunch. I also go back and look to see what key words seem to work and that term seems to be one that others respond positively too.

Your rant made me think directly of this...

It really doesn’t, I was bored.....

Funny the next day very few if any ads in DC sated the text to say highly reviewed.

I am in Minneapolis area and surf backpage.
The best chuckle I’ve had yet from a “highly reviewed”
When I checked out those reviews they were all ancient and of a girl in Louisiana. I guess she thought those reviews wouldn’t be checked

Personally i think it’s more or less word placement , if someone notices “well reviewed” who is connected to review sites and are into review site being part of their hobbying, they would most likely bring up seeing your reviews . A lot of guys will try to do review discounts , some girls need the reveiws to get on other sites .
