I always book an hour even though I am more a 1-pop person. I shy away from 30-minute sessions because I feel I would get some reduced menu and/or less friendly/enthusiastic provider. Is my hunch wrong? I am guessing DFK would likely not be done in a 30-minute session with a providers who does offer that?

How would you be able to do everything in a 30-minute session that you do in an hour session?  I have never done one, that's why I'm asking.  I like to take a shower at the beginning of a session to be fresh for the lady I'm seeing, and then I take an exit shower to wash any body fluids, lube, or sweat from the lady off of me before putting my clothes back on. If I were to book 30 minutes, after setting aside time for both showers, I would have to cram everything I want to do into about 18 minutes.  Does that sound a little bit rushed?  It does to me.   Providers have told me that they don't particularly care for 30 minutes because the customers want to pass on the shower in order to save time.  This does not make them an attractive partner for the provider.  I can pretty much guarantee you that the enthusiasm will take a hit, just as you pondered.  

Of course, most businesses treat customers that spend more money better than they treat customers that spend less money. I typically like to book longer dates (2 hours at least) for this reason. 30 minute dates rarely include GFE type experiences/services and you're usually getting a rush job.

I never do exit shower, so for me 25 minutes is plenty of time. The more I read reviews I see that 30-minute sessions are quite common. There are some hi-end girls who charge 500/hr but then only 300/ 30 minutes. 500/hr is way out of my budget. But I can swing 300..

In the movie Once Upon A Crime (1992), the gambling addict Augie Morosco (John Candy) needs his wife (Ornella Muti) to provide an alibi that he was with her and not killing a lady he lost a lot of money to during the early morning hours.  However she informs him she was with a local lothario.  But it is losing the alibi that upsets him not the sex -- and then when she says the time the lothario spent having sex -- he says "An hour and a half?  How can you do it for an hour and a half?"

Since I've been kinda retired, HHR are the best deal for me when I'm home. I use it as a afternoon escape, where I can't be out long. The hour deal don't work for me..But only reach out to ladies who offer HHR. In my area there's a flood of young ladies offering HHR. If she doesn't offer it, don't ask.
And based on my experiences, my mileage is on par or better then guys who book the hour,based on their one hour reviews. Yes there's the gfe deal. But sometimes when I get in my thrill seeker mode, I will see an unreviewed girl, and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. But those are the breaks.
But the trick is to establish yourself with a regular, (Cassandra Amore comes to mind), then the service will be more/ better then a 60 minute session.

I'm in this camp.  As a rule, I'll only book with providers with whom I can enjoy some mental stimulation as well (part of the GFE for me).

On the provider, I'm sure some providers hold back menu options when a client opts for the 30 min session vs the hour session, but some don't, and everything is the same.  I recently saw a Latina provider (Liza Banks) who offered the half hour session or the hour session.  I had heard good things about her via a local board so I jumped at the chance to see her.  I opted for the 30 min session since A) it was half the price and B) I'm a one shot guy these days, so an hour long session doesn't really do much for me unless it's unrushed and sufficient time is allotted for recovery.  I was completely blown away by her enthusiasm, friendliness and open menu.  I get it for some that may have issues with having an orgasm, the hour might be ideal, but that's not an issue for me, if anything it's being over-stimulated.  I will also say this, because said provider's performance exceeded my expectation, I have since seen her three or four more times and opted for the hour.  There's an old saying that goes "you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar".

Fair enough. Special friends deserve special treatment , and his 30 minutes is worth it, not all else would probably be.

Two hours on repeats, but the first session with a girl I’m seeing for the first time is one hour.  For me, the first meeting is more or less an audition for compatibility and skill set.  I have been stuck two hours before with someone new I just wasn’t into and it seems like four hours. Lol

It's great fun with someone you already know and you're both into the carnal fury. Though I rarely do it with a provider,  I have known a few "high end" ladies who offered it for the busy executive.
