When it's hot and muggy, I don't feel like golfing  and the hobby itch gets worse.

never know where it will come from, but if it's there, i'd find a way to fuck her in an ice storm.  aside from that, yeah clammmy and hot sucks.  in dallas last week, averaging 105!

I love to hobby, but when the humidity and temperature both climb, I find that my body just doesn't respond as well as it does when it is cooler and dryer.

Anyone else feel this way?

Why so many people live on the east side of the country baffles my alcohol-soaked mind.

Humidity sucks my ass, and living in the desert I can say at least when it's hot enough to cook an egg on the hood of a car(no shit!), you can't actually see the air you breathe like back east.

I remember getting off the plane, walk out of a terminal, and sweat immediately. Just sit somewhere and it looks like I just got out of the shower. It's fucking disgusting.

I can imagine how anyone's performance would be hindered because of the climate.

Fuck. Give me the 110 degrees and next to zero humidity anyday.

My house is air-conditioned, so is my car and so is her room.

besides, the chicks are out wearing next to nothing

nothing like throwing down a nasty fuck late in the afternoon on one of the lazy days of summer.

I cut back on hobbying when the temperatures get bad.

it's the stupidity.

originally all people are born free and immaculate. they live on the left / west coast. then they do something clumsy and screw up. as penance for their sins they are exiled to the right (but oh so wrong!) / east coast. there they work and toil in the troglodytic roasting pan that passes for a power center until they work off their sins and achieve liberation.

Growing up in and then residing in the east every part of my being is used to and enjoys the humidity.  Its not so much the desert heat that turns me off but the big ball of fire in the sky that does.  Once that sets or is effectively avoided then there is no hobby conflict.
